Ah, I was thinking the same of what you were you thinking, "it seems to be shounen-ish and that's usually not my cup of tea.", but overall, I'm really enjoying it. Mostly though because I feel as though it's a fresh feel in regard to the atmosphere of being, of what I suspect to be, the middle east instead of modern settings set in America/East Asia.
The cast so far seem pretty awesome too, I'm really loving Morgiana the most here. Aladdin, not sure if you've seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, but he exhibits Aang-like qualities. Such as the playful attitude one moment, the next, has a serious tone to his face, as well as trying to figure what he truly is.
Rumors flying around that it will be two seasons, each 12 episodes long for a total of 24. Again it's just rumors so it may go on for awhile, who knows.

Funny thing is, I did read that in your bio, but completely forgot that! I see it differently, as I do include OVA's, but with your method, it does add a 'pure' and clean sense to your list :3!
Let me know what you think of the Steins;Gate OVA when you get the chance ^^

Perhaps in another world line you told me to watch it :)
But in this world line, I had it on my PTW list, and finally finished it a few days ago. Loved the story, loved the OVA, and can't wait for the movie!
Also, I see you don't have the S;G OVA listed as watched. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend it!!! It's definitely not one of those toss away fan service like OVA's, it actually takes place after the events of the main S;G storyline ^^
