I am 28 years old and to be honest I am not so much an anime fan anymore (though never considered myself as a hardcore fan before). I have less time for myself (job at my university, writing my Ph.D, my night work), but still I love "Lovely Comlex" and enjoyed it. What a lovely anime!

How the hell are ya?

I've been so bad about logging in, talking to folks, and keeping my list updated. I got an executive position that keeps me so busy I barely have time to get drunk and watch an episode of something before I pass out and do it all over again the next day lol :P

Anyway, I watched WataMote, probably thanks to you, and I loved it. It was painfully awkward and great. Watching anything you want to recommend these days?

I understand your love for Hirano. I love her, too and, like you, I was profoundly impressed by her work as Konata. I kinda have a crush on Konata, honestly. Listening to her sing the DBZ theme was fucking amazing. I hated Haruhi as a character and I thought the anime as a whole was pretty pedestrian at best and absolutely worthless if not watched in the proper order, but Hirano's voice acting was superb nonetheless. Hirano just can't make my number 1 with a legend like Hayashibara around.

I'm familiar with Omigawa, but only in one anime. She plays Mutsumi Mitsuba in Seitokai Yakuindomo, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Very cute voice.

Well, I think most of us would agree that Kugimiya Rie is more or less the undisputed queen of Tsundere. Hidaka Noriko (the seiyuu who played Tendo Akane in Ranma ½) might be a contender, but the crown is pretty much Rie's. I think that's why she was an ideal choice for Taiga, but her performance was particularly good in my opinion, predisposition notwithstanding.

That said, I have to agree that Aizawa Mai was fantastic. I enjoyed that anime so much I had to put it into my favorites before I even finished the series. I wish they'd produce another season but sadly it's not going to happen. :(

I like when you see an anime and don't even recognize a seiyuu that you know well from other anime. It's so great to discover another side to them and it's a true testament to the scope of their abilities and talent.

All three of those are superb anime, imo. Aizawa Mai (Mio), Kugimiya Rie (Taiga), and Inoue Marina (Kana) really did it for me in those three shows. I loved the art, the soundtrack, the storyboarding, the scripts, etc., but those three seiyuu were throwin down SO HARD.

I don't know if you've seen Ichigo Mashimaro because your list is private, but Orikasa Fumiko delivers an equally amazing performance as Matsuoka Miu. Totally blew me away. If you haven't seen it yet, you gotta watch it. I promise you'll love it.

Unbelievable, a few days before I decide to check back here (and this happens like once a year nowadays), someone actually digs up my profile and leaves a message.
Anyways, check out Haibane Renmei if you liked those two, It's got a similar relaxed feel to it but the plot resembles Angel Beats a bit more.
