I watch too much shitty anime and have a disturbing ability to continue to watch stuff even though it's crap. When not engaged in that, I tend to occupy myself with other self-destructive behavior like anime vector art and making lists of things.

The interesting thing about watching crappy anime is that some of them get better. Well, maybe that's just the extreme minority, but it still works as a decent excuse! (coming from a person who has less than 10 dropped shows...go figure)
