Hey I just finished Nagi no Asukara. I like your comment in the forum for episode 26: "And the biggest shipping is not even mentioned here: Humanity and the Sea. This anime is basically a nice, cuddly romance version of Schätzing's "The Swarm".

It was refreshing to see someone talk about the bigger picture of the anime rather than focus on specific pairings which I find rather shallow.

Having said that, I didn't fully understand what exactly happened with the sea and the Ojoshi-samas in the end. Could you explain a bit, if you know?
