Hello, I'm NEKOsaki, but I'd prefer to be called Osaki. I'm 16 years old and a huge fan of anime and animation in general. I got into anime about a year ago, strangely enough. Other than Miyazaki movies and Cowboy Bebop, I hadn't seen a lot of anime. I thought since I was a big fan of animation, I might as well give anime a chance too. Needless to say, it was awesome and I fell in love.
I've been told I'm very mature and smart for my age, but when I gush about shows I love, that maturity and smartness just goes away for a while.
Being a fan of cartoons, I do animations of my own. As of now, I haven't done something good enough to post on the interwebs yet. I also wish to be a voice actor and writer too.
I am a huge fan of dubs,(there goes my chances of making friends here "-_-") though I do watch subs occasionally. I'm willing to watch any anime(with the exception of Elfen Lied and the many hentai and fanservice shows), so I'm open to recommendations!
Most importantly, I'm here to make some friends with fellow otaku. Send me a friend request or comment on my profile. Whateves. Just talk to me.

I bought this movie on DVD at Wal-Mart on a whim. NEVER watched it before. I watched it dubbed, and it seemed weird, but it was great dubbing for a CG movie.
Now then, I suggest you add this to your PTW, because it is a WONDERFUL movie! I'm glad I picked it up (buying anime blind is so much fun XD)

Oh dear, I've seen the first episode of Cossette and it's some dark, disturbing stuff. I wouldn't watch it in the dark if I were you.

Well, there's always TeenNick for the oldies. I personally like Robot and Monster, but it's not that good to be honest.
I wouldn't mind if Spongebob went on forever, but it's golden age was when Stephen Hillenburg was still part of the crew. Some of the newer episodes are just getting worse and worse TT_TT But, yeah, Fairly Oddparents should definitely end soon.
I found Lilie to be cute, just saying. Yeah, they were probably needlessly cruel to Duck at times, but it still brought a smile to my face XD
Let's see. I'm currently obsessing over Drosselmeyer, so it'd be cool to cosplay as him. Other than that, I can't think of anyone in particular. Maybe Auter or whatever his name was.
You should cosplay as Edel. It doesn't matter whether or not you could pull it off, it'd still be awesome as hell.
What I gathered was that they'll still stock stores until the license is out. If that means what it should mean, I should have another year or two to grab the DVDs that are currently out. I'm not sure about Wolf's Rain, I may have less time than I think on that one Q.Q But Cowboy Bebop isn't leaving for another year at the least.
But, yeah, I should probably hurry. Money is a problem however, since I'm saving for Anime Blues and possibly gong to MTAC with some friends. But Christmas is right around the corner. I'll make Bandai top priority!
I think Sentai would grab a LOT of their things. Sentai are more "buddy-buddy" with Bang Zoom than Funimation is. I can see Funimation grabbing Bones titles, though. That they did, and they were trying to get more. I would have loved to see Gosick released by Bandai TT___TT
I'm kinda glad, though. They were licensing Nichijou (which I expected them, too, considering it was KyoAni, and Bandai loves them) before they closed. I would kill myself if Nichijou got dubbed, because it Just. Wouldn't Work.
As much as I'm supporting dubs (even more than usual since I met you, to be honest) right now, there are just those select few that shouldn't. Right now, that list only contains Bakemonogatari and Nichijou.
They can dub the K-on movie, and I'm sure they will, but the jokes will be a little awkward, considering most of them were "Japanese talking to the British people" jokes.

If you're interested, I have a final PDF file of my book. I'm writing more in the series before even considering going to a publisher, but a published author has critiqued it and has told me it's publish-worthy :D

Drosselmeyer is enough reason to watch it again. He's one of the coolest antagonist I've come across. Well, he's a personal favorite now, anyway.

The news and stuff are always saying how bullying is rising, but I see very little of it, and the bullying I do see, I'm nothing more than a bystander from a good distance.

It's one of the things that gives me hope in the future of Disney Channel. Though, I do miss the good old days of Lilo and Stitch and Recess. But Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls makes up for it.
Mabel is in the trope for adorkable, and it's very clear to see why. Ah, I've missed a few episodes, but I've seen the first three and the newest one. I should really catch up with it.
I'm sure he does! I like to think every voice actor takes each role personally and never forgets any of them. At least, I don't think I would forget.

Yeah, but I was looking through Rightstuf, and all the good anime MB has were being treated as if they were on the verge of going out of print. This saves me some trouble later on, at least.

I guess I see what you mean, but every voice is so distinctive when I hear them, I have trouble imagining them switching roles or anything...
I saw that. It even has a cool little mini-novel on how Spike and Jet met. Damn it, bring this to America! Though, I don't see that happening... Sadly, American companies don't deal with these special big re-releases and come up with their own when they decide to do it. If someone brought Cowboy Bebop over for a dubbed blu-ray, it wouldn't have half of that.
That makes me sad TT__TT Ah, but you never know. They may surprise us, eh?

Homestuck... I think I heard it somewhere. I've never looked into it, though. It's been a while since I've dealt with webcomics. Maybe I should start browsing Smackjeeves again. I need to catch up on Inside Out, I'm sure.

Well, even though it's only been two weeks, a fight had already broken out in the cafeteria. And just like every pre-teen high school movie, their were 8 different stories about it by next period XD Didn't expect something to happen so fast.
It's going great. :D I'm having fun in Theater, and I've gotten some of the best teachers. Also, my classes are in such an order that I don't have to go to my locker at anytime of the day. One straight path, so I just carry my books everywhere.
Oh, I've been meaning to ask, have you been watching Disney' new cartoon? Gravity Falls? It's really good, in my opinion.
XD Vic's character in Princess Tutu reminds me a lot of Tamaki.

Alright.
I know, I know. I failed to finish my thoughts and answer the question.
But when I think about it, I can't think of it any other way.It's just that I have that kind of mindset I guess. For example, the Big Bang Theory wouldn't be such without Jim, and How I Met Your Mother wouldn't be such without Neil Patrick Harris.
When I think about who would play who if it were dubbed by a different company, even if I didn't like a dub, I just can't come up with anything. Like Zero from Vampire Knight. I don't like Vic playing him, but when I try to think of who should have played him, nothing comes to mind.
Is this a bad thing?
O__O Nothing is cheap on Amazon when you want it to be.
I'll have to work towards this one, then. I can't let those succulent special features slip away!

Also, I've been practicing impressions. Apparently (with Sarah as my judge) I'm getting better at Jacuzzi. And I can do a pretty decent Firo. I'm at my best as Firo when I do the line "Tell me something, did you know I'm Firo Procheinazo (probably spelled wrong...) of the well-respected Martillo family? Well, did ya!?"
I've been trying to do Ladd's, just for the heck of it, but I've yet to succeed, save for his "Hey, hey, hey" line. And even that is pretty terrible O.o
The guy I sent my Kyon auditions for (and got the part) said I do a pretty damn good impression of Crispin Freeman, too. :D
I probably did.
But I wasn't going to pay 300 dollars, no way, no how. Besides, it was Ebay.
All I know is that it works, I love this show, and I saved having to donate a kidney for it. (With Diabetes, I'm not even sure I COULD donate a kidney...)

They were cool.
Crispin Freeman, Bosch, and Sheh all in Eureka Seven. Now they're just missing Wendee Lee and Michelle Ruff for the main Haruhi cast XD
And Samurai 7 was pretty cool. It moved at a strange pace, but meh. I think I'll like it.
Yeah, I always check to see if and what changes there are. It doesn't bug me too much, and when it airs on Adult Swim, it seems the changes are kept to a minimum. So there's not too much to worry about. And irregardless of whether or not I liked an anime, I'll still end up getting the DVDs eventually. :D
Hm... I don't think it was the studio really. I think it was just their choice of cast. I think they pulled in Christiana Vee for Homura simply because she looks like a character Vee would play. (She's in a type cast based on the character's appearance, and it pisses me off!) I think the casting director could have done a little better and finding the right voices. Their were plenty actors in that studio that would have done better.
There are, like, ten new voice actresses coming in, and they've been given, for the most part, leading roles. I find that a little strange. I mean, they're doing good, save some parts. (Chick who voiced Madoka was great as Azusa in K-on) It just seems odd.

Is the ADV set still for sale in some places? And why would Sentai do that? I love Sentai because they always grab the good stuff fast and when they grab a dying series, they usually keep it in tact. What happened with Princess Tutu that left them unable to do so? TT_TT
"I came in the day after I died to finish the recording for this episode. That's how dedicated I am to this job!" XD That story about how the rumor of him dying spread around was entertaining to listen to. I can only imagine.
By the way, I finally got to order Paranoia Agent. Although, getting the cheapest one I could find, and not paying 300$, comes at a small price.
It isn't the Geneon set. It's some Region 0 two-disc set. It still has the dub, at least.
