I was watching anime when i didn't even knew what anime was. So basically it all started whit
Alfred J Kwak when i was around 5 years old, i don't really remember but i've been told i loved that show back then. So it actually went wrong there ^^
Years later the series Pokemon became popular here ( all over the world really ) and because of it more anime aired on TV here, Digimon, Beyblade and Yu-Gi-Oh and the like. One or two years later, my interest in Anime and everything around it really started. A series named
Shaman King aired on TV, and for some reason i still can't describe i loved that series. It had action, humor, a good story and ( what i tought) an nice art style. Long story short, it was just awsome, and i tought it was the best thing i ever saw. Unforunatly, they only licensed 25 episodes of the series here, so after 25 eps it went back to episode 1. After repeating the series once, it went off. The cause was, parents complained it was to violent and scary for being aired as a kids show. Thats where they were wrong, the old: Anime is either for kids or it is hentai image came in again. Unfortunatly, that image still is here today.
One year after that it was back on TV again, but again only 25 episodes of it. Then i decided to look up on the internet to see if i could see the rest there. I found the series on youtube and watched the rest of the series there. From then on i found out what anime exactly was, and i started to watch a couple of shows. Not much, tough i did started to watch and follow
Bleach from then on.
2-3 years later, everybody in my class started to watch
Death Note for some reason, and i did to. From there on i started to watch a few more shows. A year after that ( last year ), i decided to watch more anime. Started out whit the classic
Cowboy Bebop followed by
Black Lagoon and
Darker Than Black , and i decided to pick up
Shana again after i stopped watching for some reason a year before that.
In the end of last year, i decided i wanted to watch more anime. A lot more. From then on i watched all kind of shows, and thats still the same today. And i still want to watch more shows, way more in the future.
That being said, time to stop typing and time to watch some more.
