I am sarcastic. Really, it is not my fault. Blame my family.
I read therefore I am. Books take me to worlds that I always feel closer to than this place. I am a sucker for a happy ending. I can read for hours and not even know a second has passed.
Wherever I go in this life, I will always be a writer. Most of what comes out of my mind, I hide away. Only certain things cry out to be shared, and I listen to my fears about criticism too much. Like most people, I am my own worst critic.
Everyone needs to show a little more respect for themselves. You should never sacrifice who you are or your morals to please other people. This is something I am just beginning to understand. You can never be happy if you pretend to be something you are not.
I still love talking about all kinds of religions with people who are open-minded and have a sense of humor. Any religious choice is fine with me; I don't think it's something to fight about. Still, religion is interesting, to say the least.
The way people often treat each other makes me sad.
I am shy. A lot of you are laughing about that one right now, but it's true.
I hate being called a "Goth." I am not a member of the Germanic people that overran the Roman Empire in the early centuries of the Christian era.
I do not want to grow up. Adults are the reason the world is as terrible as it is sometimes.
Did I mention that I loved Mountain Dew?

You don't think younger people should take any blame? A lot of them are pretty darn terrible. I don't mean the real small youngins, but the teens and even preteens are pretty bad.
