How I rate things
I consider the art, OSTs, especially the characters and it must have an awesome story. I'm not very critical about what I watch and don't expect alot. My final judgement remains on how much I enjoyed it and how does it end. I believe the ending has a great impact on an anime.I rate only after I've watched the whole thing or if it is a long running series I would judge after 50+ episodes.
10- Absolutely Brilliant, a masterpiece. Love everything about it.
9- Briliant, done very well, entertaining and deserves I high rank. Definetely worth rewatching as well
8- Done very well, a few minor issues but overall worth the watch.
7- I liked it but could of been better or wasn't what I was expecting
6-It was OK, I guess
5-My lowest ranking, don't usually rate this low but if I do it's probably because it disappointed me or just wasn't good.
I don't rate lower as I haven't seen anything that bad as yet.
Besides being into anime, I'm a hardcore gamer. I play pretty much everything(except Fifa). My Steam ID is Mrameez, add me as a friend if you want to game sometime. I'm a hardcore DOW player and Big RTS and RPG gamer.
I eventually got into Manga. The ones I've read/reading are usually related towards the anime so I'm hoping I get into a new manga without the anime being the reason.
Tamers was good, but not Digimon Adventure good; some good characters moments, nice change of pace, refreshing plot, but somewhat rushed plotline. Right now I'm re-watching every single Digimon series (I'm in Adventure 02 right now, episode 21) and I'll make a detail review of every single one. As of right now, Adventure 02 is doing... quite decent, but not actually good.
It'll probably come down to this kind of score:
Adventure: 10 (as seen in my review)
Adventure 02: 6 or 7
Tamers: 8
Frontier: 6
Savers: 9
Xross Wars: 4
Of course, the score may vary as I re-watch each series, but so far that's what you could expect of my Digimon reviews to come ;)
Hey...Good news for me..haha..I may not need to a city far away from my home,I am going to city nearer to my house and in this way,my anime career will not end woohoo:D
no i haven't watched it yet, but i'm planning to.. maybe you're right it was rushed but i liked the characters.. anyway i respect your opinion. totally agree about death note, it's my favourite along with one piece :)
Even faster? That's even worse. The entire problem is that they're going too fast and not explaining any of the characters before suddenly killing them off.
Anyway, they're removing all the reviews for Shingeki no Kyojin because they fall under the "early review/prieview" reviews. So my review won't even be back up for weeks.
No I haven't read the manga, but I really can't see the reasoning behind that question. Seeing as the anime and the manga are 2 completely separate things, not even made by the same people. Besides, that was a review for the anime, not the manga. I would say a person who read the manga would also write a biased review seeing as they would have;
a) Read a different version of the story.
b) Have already formed opinions, and already formed opinions; good or bad are tough to sway.
Also, in my opinion: having to read the manga before you can even understand the anime is a failure in it's own right.
Second. Everyone always goes on about how "only 5 episodes have come out" but in the Shingeki world, years and years have already come to pass. So in that sense they're rushing the story along way too much without any explanation for the characters or anything.
The voice acting is bad because nearly everything is yelled, and the stuff that isn't screamed out is either so obnoxious or so boring that it just becomes ridiculous. As for the soundtrack, when i did even notice it, it was just "we have to put a choir in everything to make it seem epic" music. And that tends to lose it's effect when it's played during the entire show instead of just the "epic scenes".
