Hey thanks for the comment. I just put "top three" material as a subjective rating, but I would say Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Fate/Zero (and Unlimited Blade Works) are top three material for me. Additionally, these are all less than 40 episodes each, so having a clearer plot is a lot easier when compared to 64 episodes (in Brotherhood). However, I can definitely see why many people think Brotherhood could be top three material.

Alright, I'll recommend a few~

I see you enjoyed Sundome, I recommend Aku no Hana and Onanie Master Kurosawa, they are similar and are somewhat dark psychological manga dealing with societal issues surrounding students, and they're very fun to read. Onanie Master Kurosawa also started off as a sort of Death Note parody, so I think you'll like it.

I also recommend Battle Royale, it's a realistic survival thriller and the plot is very good. You can also give Koe no Katachi a try, it's a nice romance story that is sad but inspiring, and go quite deep into some issues. If you want to read something light from time to time, I recommend Yotsubato.

nice to know you're optimistic but for most critical thinkers that see Punch Line's numerous writing flaws the score won't budge.
Well since you haven't watch Age of the Bahamut yet I suggest that title 1st. It's the most fun and engaging adventure title I've seen in years. Seeing that I consider 7 to be a good score you might find it to be great.

Yup, if you like it that's fine, I have no problem with that, I simply stand with the other camp of people who didn't and verbally expressed why I didn't. There's a reason why the average score is a 7.23, it's simply because it's a show that is divided by people who liked it or didn't.
Idk, what kind of shows are you looking for? give me an example and I can suggest something.
