Not only good but also completely brilliant.
If you are planning to start watching it I have to warn you that at the beginning the show is really confusing because it's always jumping to different timelines but all makes sense at the end.
Also first episode is just introduction and nothing actually happens in it and the characters in it never appear again until the last ep of the OVA

Hmm if you write macross in search you get a whole page of them. There has been a lot of macross series in the past :)
It will be hard to remember whitch ones you saw^^

Yup i did. Well thats it for the movies. I dont think there r any more similar anime movies. The next most graphicly advanced thing is Macross zero 4 episodes OVA and Macross frontier series. They have a mean 2D+3D combo. I love good graphics!
