Generations is great. Sonic in 3D has only started getting good since Unleashed, but Unleashed was oversaturated with the terrible werehog stages. Colors was good too. Generations is amazing though, one of my all time favourite platforming games.
And yeah, kinda glad to hear Nintendo aren't developing for the Wii anymore. Got the 3DS on launch and it's stupid that some of the games I use it most for, namely Pokemon Black and White, both 1 and 2, are original DS games, yet they came out after the 3DS.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, Sonic Racing Transformed looks pretty cool. I tried the demo of the first but wasn't interested enough to buy it, but this one looks like they improved in various ways, so that, coupled with my new found interest in the Sonic series due to Generations, makes me interested in Transformed.
And yeah, the Wii U basically just starts up as a Wii, so you can do anything a Wii can do. Which is both good and bad. Pretty much everything works as is, but it means, since the system works in "Wii Mode" to play Wii games, the Wii U's new features (the tablet controller, Miiverse etc.) are useless/unavailable during Wii games. I REALLY hope they patch that, and at least let you play stuff on the controller screen. Would love to play my Virtual Console games or Smash Bros Brawl on the controller while watching TV.
Despite that though, it's a good system, and yeah, the picture is definitely better. I'm guessing it's something to do with how the TV upscales it or something. The resolution is the same, but the image in general clearer and less stretched/blurred.

No dosh, sadly. I might get NSMB U though. Or Sanic Racing Transformed. But eh, it's better than when I got the Wii and all I had was Wii Sports, at least.
One cool thing is that all my Wii games look way better. It still plays them at their standard definition, but the image is clearer due to better cables. Brawl looks amazing.

Yeah, it's pretty damn nice. Love how I can do most of the stuff on it while also watching TV. Makes a nice efficient web browser if you stick it on a nearby table and want to look things up during other games.
Sadly, didn't get anything but Nintendoland with it, but turns out Nintendoland is alright.
