About me:
I’ve been an anime fan since 2nd grade. It started out with Voltron, Dragon Ball Z and the like. Although, it wasn’t until 8 years later that I actually knew what anime was thanks to my friend who introduced me to it. That same year I joined my first anime club. Little did I know that two years later I would become a club officer and president the year after. I haven’t gone back since 2008, though, because I’ve outgrown the club. Still, I consider becoming president as one of the pinnacles of my life (besides going to Disney World and Las Vegas). When I’m not playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, going to the movies, watching hockey, hanging out with friends, posting on my blog, or watching anime, I’m usually working on my novel. Writing has been my passion since I was 5 years old. Therefore, I took this semester off from college in order to work on my first full-length novel (a teen comedy/romance/drama) which I hope to get published, but right now it’s on hold because of another novel (a post-apocalyptic sci-fi) I’m writing for National Novel Writing Month.
Allow me to introduce myself: I have been living in the great land known as the Lone Star State my entire life. I have many talents and hobbies (and frankly, I'm talented in all my hobbies). I've been an anime fan for 5 years (if you want to know the full story, then check out my blog) and a member of MAL for 2 years.
I've been described as witty and sarcastic, and I enjoy being deviant -- in other words, I TRY to be different, and take it as a compliment. I hate daylight. In my opinion, my "day" doesn't start until after 8:00pm. I’m obsessed with cats and anything cute.

A Few Clubs I Manage:
It's not so much because of budget, but because they're understaffed and are doing a lot at a time. I believe they were doing ZSZS, Natsu no arashi, and Bakemonogatari at the same time. Part of it is because that is their style, though. I like the stuff on the chalkboard. It's funny if you choose to pay attention to it, but it's never necessary.
Eh, Gonzo. I don't like them. They'll definitely be a studio I talk about on the next set.
I don't think it's because they've been trying too hard, but that they've been over ambitious this year. We have a new Zetsubou, two seasons of Natsu no Arashi, Bakemonogatari, and Maria Holic. It was just too much for them to handle, and I think the quality suffered a little everywhere (except for maybe in Arashi).
Yeah...there isn't much about KyoAni that I haven't said in episode discussions for K-ON, Endless Eight, and Munto TV. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
Have you seen JC Staff's shoujo/ romance? That's where they shine. Honey and Clover and Nodame Cantabile are my hands down favories from them. And two of my favorite shows period.

lol i can contact juggle. (like the thing david bowie did in the labyrinth) im still no good at regular juggling. hell im not even that good at contact juggling. but thats why i practice so much. heh once you get the rythm going you dont have to really keep an eye on the balls that much. soooo it becomes anime time! ;)
heh im horribly addicted to any and all kind of cartoons. thats why anime is perfect for me! theres just so much! i do often times enjoy it a bit more than manga but thats just because i can knit or practice my contact juggling while watching.
other nights though im torn between anime and my other addition, reading. so i try to get my manga on, so to speak, on my lunch break at work and at the gym.
ya know a while ago i tried to find out what happened to this series but i couldnt find much on it. maybe its another case of finishing it waaaaaay before the manga ended? or by the looks of it, they ran of money?
i wont even watch the last dvd of that series its just terrible. train wreck is a great description for it.
lol yeah if you were to read the manga the first part of the series would definantly be a recap of what you know but like i said after that its a whole new story. heh it really makes you kinda mad that they quit caring about hte anime because there is so much more to the story.
but i totally understand about about being leary of the reading the manga after that. ive ahad a few series do that to me.
hiya i just saw on the recent forum posts that youre watching kare kano.
its an awesome series but i think they gimped out a bit at the end. (youll see if you stick with it) but i HIGHLY reccomend reading the manga. they continue way past where the anime ended. to some surprising plot twists too!
