It would take longer, but it would make for a FAR better game. I'm sure it would sell a lot better as well.

The biggest problem I saw with Gen 3 onwards, is that they only let you go in 1 region. G/S/C had both Johto AND Kanto, and no other game has done that other than the remakes.

Until D/P/P I always just leveled up 2 things. My starter, and some other random thing I caught.

G/S/C were the best games. That's something almost everyone agrees on.

The entire series is like filler to me at this point.

I never played the original 3 games. I started on Gold. I did play Leaf Green, however, so I guess that counts.

WOW, for me my favorite character is Rei!!! He is so dark and evil but with a good heart! The moment he eat his own dragon was like the peak of a the battles for me! It was SO awesome that in my opinion it was better than the final battle! Kurama, is awesome I must say! Its incredible how the other characters are better than the main character dont you think so?
I always think of the technique Kurama used to destroy the Touro brother, remember the immortal one, that he seal him in an eternal battle for all eternity! AWESOME!
