Yes, Sakujun Sa was a pretty interesting character, but he was one of the bad guys after all, and so his end was quite fitting I think, at the hands of the girl he loved... tragic, but beautiful in a way.

You're most welcome! ;) And oh yes, the second seasons of Saiunkoku Monogatari is also very good, but it ends with a scene that really leaves one on the edge, which is why I really hope they make a third season soon :)

Well, I can't refrain from recommending some more anime after all lol You're probably going to like Hanasakeru Seishounen a lot, because it's like a more modern Saiunkoku of a sort. Also, Fushigi Yuugi is a historical romance, so you'll probably enjoy it, and Ayashi no Ceres and Kaze no Stigma are two more anime that are romantic and very interesting too. ^_^

If you like romance that much, I have some suggestions: you can try Itazura na Kiss, it's very romantic! Also Spice and Wolf is pretty cool, romantic and historical at the same time, which for me is a winning combination :P Kare Kano is another romantic anime, and you'll probably like Zero no Tsukaima as well... There are more, of course, but these are thoe ones I'd suggest for now. Hope you'll like them, if you get round to watching these anime.

Thanks for the friend request! I'm glad to see you liked Saiunkoku Monogatari too, it's one of my favorites as well and Shuurei is one of my favorite characters, she's amazing! I just hope they make a third season of the series soon!
