I was going to comment on the thread you made, but it's locked. Don't listen to the negative comments. It was very reminiscent of my own story. I met my husband online in a Japanese chat room some time in 2003. I had come to the chat room when bored. There were 2 other users in the chat. I was talking to one of them a lot, but my computer had frozen and crashed at least a few times during that chat. I got frustrated and just said "here's my email, add me to msn". Well, I don't think that guy ever took it down, but the other user in the chat that had been silent got nosy and took down my email.

For a few months, apparently (I don't remember), he tried to talk to me on msn but I either ignored his messages or just gave him a quick hi and bye. I flew out to Kansas in 2004 to visit my cousin, and I was home alone for a couple of days because she started school earlier than I did. I was using her computer all day out of boredom. One day absolutely nobody was online msn to talk to me, except the nosy guy from that japanese chat. I started talking to him, one of us opened cam but I can't remember which, and I just got addicted to talking to him since that first actual chat. We talked every day for hours upon hours. I considered him my best friend, but I had a boyfriend at the time so I didn't let it go past that.

He confessed he was in love with me, and I wasn't willing to say anything back. A while later I broke up with my boyfriend because I had been having a really hard personal problems, and while he wasn't a contributing factor, he wasn't exactly helping. Of course mr. nosy-now-best-friend jumped on asking me out when he found out I was single. I figured it's online, so what the heck (I had had an online boyfriend or 2 before, but nothing serious). To sum it up, we probably never talked a shorter conversation than 4 hours since the day we started chatting back in kansas. Cam chatting, phone, snail mail packages, regular chats, emails, everything. He proposed to me online only months after we started dating (I had long since admitted that I was in love). I accepted and of course I got all the criticism that you'd imagine. "It won't last" kind of comments. That was around march or april of 2004 that he proposed. I can't remember because first I said yes, then I thought "maybe he was talking hypothetically" because he is from another country and nearly 9 years older... then he re proposed and sent an engagement ring to me.

Anyway, I got my passport and arranged a flight to Guatemala (his country) literally the day after my highschool graduation. As you can imagine, my mother was against it, but I had opened a bank account she didn't know about, and saved money there from my weekend job. Mr. Nosy had sent a few hundred dollars just to assure that I could afford a ticket should my mother try to keep the money that she had saved in her own account.

I graduated highschool June 17th, 2005. I was on the plane there June 18th, 2005. We got married civilly July 1st, 2005, and by church (the one we consider our real marriage date) August 6th, 2005.

It's February 13th, 2014. We got back to the usa in June of 2009. We have a 4 year old little girl together that starts kindergarten this year, and are trying to go for a 2nd.

So you can tell anyone who tries to tell you "it won't last" to shove it, because whether it lasts or not depends not upon how you met, but upon your love, determination, cooperation, understanding, and willingness to work through hard times together. I tell you this from experience, because Mr. Nosy and I have been married for 8 & 1/2 years already. (no, his name isn't really mr. nosy, but I always call him that when talking about how he stole my email when I had given it to someone else, haha)

Good luck! And just remember that relationships aren't always easy, and you have to be understanding of cultural differences and willing to compromise <3

I saw your thread about meeting your love in MAL , and i just wanted to say that it was amazing life experience!It looked like romance story from Movies or Anime/Manga.Congratulations and i wish you all the best.Your story somehow motivated me to be more open to people.

You want to make 2 different manga at the same time? Hardcore ;o I am not sure if you will make it.

That is the point, main hero won't even know he/she is ill. But another think I come up today - we can start with no realted person in the story ( at the moment ), who would relate this story to someone ( don't know who yet ), later on, in the story that person could became good friend of our main character then later on - betray him. The reason for him to narrate this story could be .. for example, cause our main hero would die in the end and he regret everything he did to him, or cause he almost destroy the world and finally understand that he is the bad guy.

Oh? Aren't there Final Fntasy with siingle player you could recommended?
The most popular seems FF VII, I did enjoy watching Cloud story in anime., so maybe I will start from this one.

Awww, I think, the story you come up to - will be sad and depressing :P but we can make romance as the one aspect who shows that world can be beautiful no matter what and there is always reason to fight for it.

Watch out, don't put too many genres into one story, it's better to bring only few and try to develop them to maximum.

I agree, if you like something it's no good to give up only cause you suck at this in the begining. I understand when you only try something and give up cause ' it's not something you can put your heart for ', but if you spend your money and time it's good to fight for improvement to the end.

Can be, but I would prefer to not put romance as a main problem, cause it happend all the time. Unless you do have idea for any intresting love story - I have read a lot of manga with this genre so it will be hard to surprise me :P

That's true, she isn't that close for me so I don't really know what best way for her to learn will be. But maybe if she will be alone and stop be ashamed she will get better.

Hmmm, not bad, but it's typical story, I have seen similar ones in movies already. Why not do something total different - make a bad guy as a main character ? Or someone with schizophrenia [ once he is normal guy, who won't hurt anybody, but aren't any kind of hero ; while the next ' side ' of him is the bad one ] ? You could also put your main problem into this.
If you did made something already you can send me, I will think of something for sure.
I could help you with character developments, especially the main guy, I notice too many people change personality from main character too much after some time, I can try to tend you to not do this ;3
But for sure, I will have to know what you are planing more or less from the begining to the end.

Passionate? Nah, rather no, she just look after any passion and try everything out, but I don't want her to give up so easly.
