I downloaded the entire Nodame series last week and started watching it on the 19th. When I finish it, I'll move on to the only other Josei series I can think of which is Honey and Clover. I started watching that series years ago but lost interest mid way through the first season.

It was, but I had major difficulties installing it. It was my first time trying to install one, and frankly, I didn't have a fucking clue what I was doing. I tried again sometime last year when I had more of an understanding, but I was still confused. So on a whim several weeks ago, I decided to download it one final time. And, it worked. So yeah.
I think it's just the weird gradient the characters seem to have, or the colouring. Either way, the art doesn't appeal to me. Some people probably loved it, though.
I don't think it's an actual series, but two separate titles which are loosely linked together and made by the same people. Like, you wouldn't have to watch/read one to understand the other. Or at least, I think that's it.
Yeah, Gainax have been kind of... meh recently. I was never the biggest fan of their stuff in the first place, but Shikbane Hime was just awful (I think I dropped it). Yeah, I dropped Youchien too.
Hah, wonderfully done. I don't know, I didn't see what was so bad about it. I went away for a few days and when I came back everyone was talking about it, so I never got caught in the time. It was weird, but yeah, I guess at least he's banned and everything now.

Yep, I've heard of it. It looks better, but the character designs are throwing me off. I never liked Huke's art in the first place, so playing through a vn with nothing but that art would annoy me. Obviously the anime won't have the same art, but still. I'm actually thinking of not watching the anime until I read the vn (if it ever gets translated), because watching the anime of Chaos;Head before playing the vn (even if there was two years of a difference) ruined the whole experience, slightly. The vn sold/is selling well anyway, so it has to be somewhat good. It helps that the protagonist is an older, seemingly calm guy as opposed to the jittery nervous wreck that was Chaos;Head's Takumi.
I dropped Panty & Stocking because it's just not my thing. The humour is crude, and sloppily executed. I mean, toilet humour in the first episode, really? Panty covered in shit and battling a giant shit monster? Yeah, right. Anime of the year right there!
What were you banned for in the first place? General trolling?

Haha, you're somewhat right. I actually finished the anime as it was airing (and, naturally, was left disappointed). But about a month ago I started reading the visual novel, and honestly, it wasn't all that bad. Madhouse left out a lot of interesting scenes which could have made everything so much more suffocating and paranoid. Instead it was all just so poorly handled and disappointing. A shame, really, because the vn deserved so much better.
So what you saw me dropping was one of the manga adaptations, which I read when I finished the vn. And oh my god, the manga was even worse than the anime, if that was even possible.
