I tend to gravitate towards anime series with heavy philosophical content -- to me, it is what truly separates anime from the average live-action television show.

We go flying of like were buzz light year and woody, thought the nights sky, thought the cloud’s to see the open sky, In aw we almost forget that… WE’RE STRAPED TO A ROCKET >_<)o”
The straps loosen and snap as we push off from the firework, the giant rocket based firework, makes a finally fire work show all by itself, lighting everything around you and making a design in the sky ^_~b
I pull my parachute string, the parachute, which is somehow on your back now opens up and you sail away thought the sky, as you see me fall though the clouds and out of sight.
…You have just been spontaneously hugged …. Have a nice day ^_~

i remember when i first started Higurashi...the first 4 episodes scared me but after that i got used to it

my all-time favorite is Lucky Star...but other notables are Death Note, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, ef - a tale of memories, ef - a tale of melodies, Toradora!, Shuffle!, Baccano!, Kanon (2006) and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...basically anything i rated a 9 or 10

i started in 2005 but it was in 2008 that i saw 137 out of the 186 anime shows that is on my completed list.
