I like Tomino and Nagai, i prefer Tomino series mechas, but i feel better watching Nagai series, its full of violence and strange creatures :3

I'm watching ring ni kakero now, but yeah i can tottaly tell its a very unknown anime i guess. hardly any one is in the discussion forums, guess ill' be the first one to actually discuss on every episode. Though i kind of do not like how it sets up the story. It feels as though their is something missing, then when i read the manga, i was right. It seems the anime skips aver quite alot of the actual premise of the story.
And that is that these children, both Ruuji and his sister had a father that was named kiki that was a professional boxer and basically the eldest sibling enherated her fathers dream to become a boxer and then she trains her brother to become a well known boxer as wel. That entire part of the story is missing from the anime.
So its kind of confusing just entering the anime, with a fight against Tenzaki and Ryuiji right from the get go. Two characters you know nothing bout.

Is there any news on a remake or anything? I think they should start a new series and cover arc 1,2 and 3 in one series, and not just a summary like a full retelling/remake.
The Anime is popular worldwide, I'm Iranian and whenever I go to Iran all my cousins talk about this anime, captain tsubasa. I just recently found out it was an anime >_> I thought it was a weird persian show xD.
They air it all the time in Iran, It had pretty high rating in japan as well while it aired, they should remake the entire 3 acs make it go on for as long as it needs to 250-300 episodes.
