yeah I agree the animation is pretty lackluster and crappy. But it's very well written, and story is very multi-layered and complex. The best way to enjoy it is by taking your time with it because it's one one of those types of animes where you need to let everything soak in slowly.

Well it all comes down to preferences. I still stand by what I said in my review. It's not like I hate mindless action shows or anything. It's just that the characters were incredibly annoying, shallow and unlikable which in turn prevented me from enjoying it.

"Harsh" How so ? I stand by my 2/10 rating. The story was very uninspired, the characters were bland and shallow. I know it's supposed to be a mindless popcorn flick, but still, the unlikable characters and excessive fanservice prevented me from enjoying it. I heard about that anime you reccommeded called Master of Martial Hearts. Yeah, by just looking at it I know it's gonna be a pile of dog shit.

Harsh in a way yeah, I was drunk when I did it, I wrote most of it after watching the first 2 episodes on a piece of paper some days ago and forgot I'd written it. Just copied it in here. I did finish the show however but I really did not like it. Maybe had I watched it when I was younger I wouldn't have such a bad opinion on it. It's like clannad, I rated it high but if I was to watch it nowadays I'd give it a low score.

Trust me, I know it's a bad recommendation, but I just see too much of how the main characters are alike despite the huge major differences. That is why I put the first thing I said on top of the recommendation.
