Leave a comment or two before sending me a friend request; start talking to me and I will most likely add you. I'll only accept friend requests from people I've met on other sites, or know in real life (but that's very unlikely :P). I will keep the random friend requests I accepted last year for now, but I will remove them if you never talk to me.
Update: All Romanians who want to track me are free to send me a friend invite. As well as anyone who has a considerably high anime/manga compatibility with me (I won't accept the friend requests immediately, but will consider them and might do it eventually).
Send me a random friend request without following these rules and Wolverine might get mad. And I don't think you want that. ^_^
I don't really like writing biographies but here goes:
I am a 22 year old guy who enjoys watching large amounts of anime, cartoons and sometimes live-action shows (mostly comedy and science-fiction/action). I also occasionally read comics and/or manga, although I obviously don't read enough of those (as you can see in my list above XD). I don't really have a favorite genre for anime, but usually my favorites end up being shounen.
I'm a pretty nice guy to talk to, so feel free to drop a comment on my profile if you happen to find it by accident around here. ^_^
Tigers are rebels. They are both colorful and unpredictable. Their energy and love of life are stimulating. They love being the center of attention and never go unnoticed. Tigers are impatient and always look for action. They speak their minds when upset and have suspicious natures.
But in spite of their quick tempers, they are sincere, generous and very affectionate. They also possess a great sense of humor. Tigers like people, involvement, and dedication to humanitarian causes. They seek out adventures, and at certain points in their lives, they will be very rebellious. They must act out some of their ideals and lash out at the wrongs of society. Tigers are so daring that they acquire many admirers. Those who disapprove of what Tigers do still will secretly admire Tigers for their actions.
When Tigers are injured they need all-out sympathy. Logic does not appeal to them. They want to be comforted. They will listen sincerely to the advice you give, and then do exactly as they please. Since they have a lot of spunk, no matter how down and out they get, they never give up. They can always start over again.
People born during the year of the Tiger have super egos. Tread lightly and don't hurt their feelings. They may never forgive you! Tigers are romantic, passionate, and playful. They are also extremely jealous and possessive. If they do not learn to control their emotions, they could cause themselves much trouble. The lives of Tigers are full of emotional situations, but they love it that way. They love life and want to live it to the fullest.
Optimistic, Tigers always bounce back for new and fresh challenges. Tigers are very generous with rewards when you have pleased them. Being delightful hosts, Tigers go all-out to see that you have a good time. They are intense individuals, especially when upset and angry, but Tigers are famous for their ability in influencing others and swaying crowds.
150th finished anime: Special A - 21 October 2008 200th finished anime: Jyu Oh Sei - 6 June 2009
Ah, I see. See I own nothing. The only anime related things I own aside from video games are 3 Inuyasha movies I have..which I had gotten before I ever became this into anime and watching online and stuff. But that's cool.
Ahh, I see. I didn't know that. Yeah, what a weird time but I guess they'll get it out of the way with the hour special.
I thought it was good. I think knowing that there will be at least 2 movies made up for the confusing and unfinished ending, but overall I thought it was a good and unique series (which is hard to come by nowadays IMO).
Well, go figure. I forgot all about Wolverine&Xmen last night. I won't watch it online yet since I know they'll air it next week after the new episode, but I hope I don't forgot again. =P
Oh and not sure if you noticed this, but 5cm Closer just released a music video, so here's the link case you were interested. And good thing i logged on when i did since i saw you added another Eden movie that i was unaware about.
Sorry, but i cant reply to your comment until end of next month, beginning of next seeing as i'm leaving today and wont have net connection. Just wanted to say cya til then.
Oh, though just to answer the main pts:
--Yes, Kurokami's got a dub...you can find it on crunchyroll and youtube, just search for it.
--Bummer, being sick sucks....that's the one thing i couldnt afford getting these past couple of wks, so luckily they cant be transmitted over the net:P Hope ya feeling better now.
--As for Jyu Oh Sei, it's not bad. I mean, not the greatest thing i've seen, but it's not bad. Sorry i cant say more, kinda rushed...though it would seem our feelings for it match, so i suppose i dont need to:P I'll finish it when i get back, since i had wanted to prior to but oh well...too much to do 0_0
Well if your reply looked rush, then this must look like the abridged spark notes edition of the abridged spark notes edition of the spark notes edition of your reply leaving out nearly all of itXD *wonders if you know what spark notes are...:P* Unfortunately, you were right...we werent on at the same time:(
Haha, that's cool. I don't own any manga...I guess I'm satisfied with reading it online. =P
Yeah, I heard that as well. I also read that the manga was canceled suddenly so it never got a proper ending or some sort and now they are republishing it to give a proper ending. Not sure on that.
Haha, true. I put some on hold for awhile, but some I just couldn't take any more and dropped.
It wasn't bad, but I just could never fully get into it.
Haha, I'm only looking forward to them for the new characters in the anime, but agreed, I hope they don't drag it out and include fillers with icky Sasuke.
Surprisingly enough it did, but thanks. =]
Haha, yeah. Well, as I become more experienced so to speak when reading these series it doesn't bother me anymore to drop something if I'm not enjoying it (I tried not to drop a lot when this whole anime thing was new to me). I dropped Shaman King last week because I wasn't enjoying it. I just don't wanna waste my time on a bad series.
Haha, yeah, true. I actually did, unexpectedly, see Twilight last night. It wasn't that bad.
I do for certain shows...well, mainly like Bleach and maybe one or two shows that I like..just to see where they're going. lol, right. Haha, that's true.
Haha, that was just sad. I didn't mind as much because to see Shippuuden following the manga is a shocker in itself. =P
Thanks. :] Pffft, I wish. xD Nah, so far I had just family over right after my actual graduation on Saturday and haven't done much of anything yet. But I do have plans for later in the week and my friend's graduation party is next weekend so we'll see. ^^
lol, true. Sometimes I wish I wasn't caught up with all these manga series, well, for some of them. Most of them are good, but some are just so blah.
Ah, I see. I'm definitely gonna see it eventually.
I wasn't interested in Twilight either and was actually quite sick of hearing all the fangirls rave over it. *rolls eyes* However, for our final project in one of my classes we had to discuss and compare a series that has been adapted into a film from a book and a girl did Twilight and it sounded kinda interesting after learning about it (since we basically had to discuss out book in front of the class) and then I talked to my cousin last week and he said the movie wasn't that bad so now I'm interested. =P
Yeah, that's for sure. Judging from episode titles they have posted online it still isn't really set in stone for this filler. Even though 226 says "226. Fierce Fighting Concludes? Towards a New Battle!", it could really go either way (as in the new battle being the new step in the manga or the new battle meaning the filler), so who knows. It did sound somewhat interesting being about the zanpakutos spirits and with Kubo working on the filler this time maybe it won't be a total disaster like the last filler arc with the annoying girl. xD
At least Shippuuden's filler is over. Idk about you, but I couldn't wait for it to end. :P
Hmm, if i recall correctly, i might (and i stress might) have felt that way a tad...but on the whole i felt it was good...which is why i, and i see you as well, gave it an 8. Wow, i just check our ratings for all the GitS we have in common (essentially minus the Laughing Man and Solid State Society) and we rated everything the same...0_0 No wonder our comp jumped ~0.5% in the last couple of days. Lol, well i saw the first 2 movies bout a yr or so prior to the series..probably longer, so that wasnt an issue for me. As for the third one, since it's a sequel of the SAC 2, i wont be seeing it for another half a yr (when SAC 2 finishes airing). Though i cant speak for Solid State Society, in regards to the first 2, i'd agree that #2 wasnt as good as #1...so right now, #1's the best for me.
I see, then i need to watch 3 while you only need 1....so ya, not gonna happen before i leave. Time...the one thing we can never have too much of and are always in need of.
Heh, tell me about it...>_< Oh, and dont forget my luck with anime on ondemand....one by one, i lost both of my original sections and was left with only Funi...i went from having 2 anime sections that were pretty good to Funi which would great if it werent for the fact that half of what they show must be bought (and if i'm gonna pay for an ep for only 24hrs, i might as well put in the money towards buying the box sets). Ans now i see that WB removed Thundercats, now that's also stuck in limbo (sigh, what is that...the 5th series>_>
It's one of those shows that you're glad you grew up during the yrs it aired (like Magic School Bus) and not like most of the trash that's on nowadays for children. Huh, never would have expected Rugrats to have been on the same channel as DB...but then again, dunno how networks are arranged by you. Well i was an avid Nick watcher back then, so i pretty much watched everything on it at that time (nowadays it hurts just to turn on the channel...i must admit though, there have been a couple good shows since but not as much since most are geared towards the mentally challenged). Uh, you can always record the....oh wait, you dont have something to record with, do you? Heh, i suppose with your 'connections', something like recording seems trivial:P
Unfortunately, no...i havent the time right now with everything going on...though i see the similarity we share in our busyness isnt affecting you as much (case you didnt realize, i mean studying for final exams):P Well i'd say just head down to your nearest bookstore and read it there, but from what you've said before, that's not very plausible.
Oh, it was only 1-2 seasons long? That's too bad. Hmm, ~9eps behind huh...i'm sure when i come back, there'll be more eps. Sweet, they're lucky.
Heh, somehow i figured as much....eh, oh well...as you said later on in this reply, i just wanted to mention that to someone:P
Exactly, you dont remember....b/c it's all one giant mess up there that's now all but forgotten:P Then what have you seenXD
yes, well i've found that what sounds "easy enough" usually never is.... Ya, i know. True, but i'm itching to see it. As for Kurokami, i was about to put it on-hold til i got back and then rewatched it dubbed, but then they final subbed the current eps...though i believe ep 21 raw is out, so hopefully that'll be subbed soon. In any case, those series that're ending by the end of the month i'll be leaving their eps next wk for when i get back so i'll 2 eps to watch stead of one and possible not recall the series entirely (plus it's not like i'll have a whole lot of time).
Uh, if i remeber correctly....6teen. I believe CN airs it since i've seen it listed on their schedule and in their ondemand section. Ha, i'd say not to hold your breath, but the show isnt consistent and defies logic, so i wonder...but i doubt it. With the next season being the last, they've got their work cut out for them...specially now since they opened up a whole 'nother storyline (the 'what ifs' i suppose would be the best way to describe it).
Lol, i can see your point...so perhaps it's your hardcopy collection that i'd be more jealous of. You missed out on not watching Cheers (that's why i loved Nick @ night, all the old classics). As for the Cosby Show, it was a good family show (much like Full House, but better). Yes, you did.:P
Should stay that way for now..but you never know:P Lol, yup.
Haha, good luck with that. Oh yes, a single wk will definitely help...eh, it is better than nothingXD
Not anymore, i was somehow able to tie you again:P
Hmm, wonder if i could remedy that by asking what you think of Naruto mangawise now. Personally, i felt the ending of the last arc wasnt what you'd expect from it...everyone miraculously coming bk to life...give me a break, this isnt DBZ where we wish on the eternal Dragon (Shenron) to grant resurrection....unless Pain is the eternal dragon of Naruto. Sure i wasnt to keen on ppl like Kakashi dieing, but this seems like it's insulting them. And if they were all brought back, why not Pervy sage? Oh man, i cant believe Tsunade is out of commission, leaving Danzo as the next Hokage...ack, the Fire Lord should have told him to shut up and pick Kakashi....though then we wouldnt have a story, now would we:P
Well that might have felt a tad rushed (about naruto), but i've gotta get off, so i guess cya round then ;)
