I don't really like writing biographies but here goes:
I am a 22 year old guy who enjoys watching large amounts of anime, cartoons and sometimes live-action shows (mostly comedy and science-fiction/action). I also occasionally read comics and/or manga, although I obviously don't read enough of those (as you can see in my list above XD). I don't really have a favorite genre for anime, but usually my favorites end up being shounen.
I'm a pretty nice guy to talk to, so feel free to drop a comment on my profile if you happen to find it by accident around here. ^_^

Heh, had to drop it in the end...thankfully that's an option in college. If it was just the fact i couldnt stand her, i would have stuck it out...but her teaching method sucked...or i should say was completely absent. It's not like i really need to know it, just a required class, but i wanted to pass the class with a high grade, not fail it-_- My gpa wont be affected by her! Course now my plans for the next couple of quarters are ruined...>_>

I dont know, somehow i cant see him as being batman serious (b/c there's serious and then there's batman serious...:P)...then again, i'm only familar with his roles/VA on Dirty Sexy Money and Danny Phantom.
Wow, i was checking the list of DC films on wiki and i see that they're making a live action Lobo movie...wonder how that'll turn out. He GL live action's supposed to come out in '010, so that's exciting..if they dont mess it up. And the prospect of a 3rd live action Batman movie is great. Just hope Bale returns. It wouldnt be the same...though unfortunately, as long as he's batman, there wont be a robin (least that's what he's saying since he doesnt want robin...but who doesnt like robin?).
Just got Final Crisis from the library, so gonna read it soon and find out how it happens...then wait until the aftermath comci bks come in.
That's one of the advantages to having recently finished the series, it's still fresh in your mind:P And reading the manga doesnt hurt. Slowly getting there myself...waiting on the final ep of Guin as well. Havent started all the one's i've wanted to yet, but of the one's you'e mentioned, Fairy Tail's pretty good...wanna start the manga soon. Now that i've finished rewatching DtB S1, i can start S2. Heh, Needless was terrible and Element Hunters is only a tad better...might just drop it as well.

Hahah, that's true. Back when I was in school, I still used to fall asleep around 3-4 in the morning even though I had to be up at 7:30. Then when summer started I became an insomniac, which I hated. I try to go to bed around 1-2 nowadays so I can actually wake up in the AM...not like I have anything to get up for, but I just don't like sleeping in late anymore...sure it's great, but idk. :P
True. I have (re)started X-Men Legends II. I'm a little more than halfway done. I love that game. :P
I definitely agree. I mean, if he was the main villain it would be more like a mecha movie since anything he dishes out that's not an illusion is just a robot. I kinda think they should do Mysterio, Black Cat, and add in either Shocker or Electro. Mysterio can take care of small issues, Black Cat as far as MJ conflictions (jealousy), and then have Electro/Shocker pull off the final battle, while still setting up for Sinister Six.
Hahaha, I've never seen that but I heard it tanked. xD Oh, really? Well, considering Xmen already has the second season in production, I'm definitely glad to hear that. I gave my rating for Spidey tonight again. :P It's no wonder Xmen's ratings are lower with them constantly changing the schedule for it. That's why I gave up on trying to watch it on TV. I don't get why they stop airing it some weeks when all they literally need to do is air the episode.

Ah, I see…heh, I only really know the Kingpin from the 90s series, so I wasn’t sure if he went by a different name in the beginning (since I’ve only read vol 1 of essential spider-man (which I own) and he’s not in it..least not from what I recall). Not to mention the fact that the Goblin tricked me into thinking that when he kept referring to Tombstone as if he was the kingpin. Well that’s good news, since I couldn’t get passed Tombstone being a “thin” kingpin….his trademark is a little head and a big, big body used to crush little spiders with warm hugs:P Is there an actual character named Tombstone in the comics?

Watched it myself over the wkend I believe (forget where, but the quality was near perfect, so I cant complain) and also liked it. Glad to hear familiar voices. Though, it did feel strange hearing Luther’s voice (Clancy Brown) come out a white Luther when in the animated series he was black. Did you know Clancy Brown now voices Gwen’s father, Capt Stacy, on the Spectacular Spider-man and that he’s the voice of Mr Sinister on Wolv. and the X-men? And I thought I recognized Capt Marvel’s VA, it was Corey Burton who voiced Brainiac. Got the comic bk from the library and’ll read it soon…though after a quick glance, I saw that some characters were omitted and events altered. What I was disappointed in was that they animated the true Kori (Star Fire) and yet she didn’t have a single line…would have loved to hear her “mature” voice (and after seeing that her “VA” was Jennifer Hale, I can say it would have been great….though it puzzles me that Kori had a VA and yet said nothing…ok, maybe she grunted as Superman took her out:P Her most recent role is Jean Gray on Wolv. and the X-men and before that a notable role would be Avatar Kyoshi). I saw in the comic bk she speaks. (heh, you and your downloading). That looks awesome…only thing though, I cant see William Baldwin as batman….he just doesn’t seem right for the role. Speaking of DCU movies and batman, I checked wiki and it says that there are (animated) batman movies in the works, which I’m psyched about…so hopefully Kevin Conroy will come back again for those. Seriously, he is the one and only voice for batman…he even says so himself: “I am Batman!”. Argh!, I still cant believe they had the audacity to kill Batman off in the comics. DARN THEM! And I still cant believe I havent read it yet….course, it did take me a yr to finally read Capt America’s death. Well good news (in a sense) is that there are only a couple of holds ahead of me at the library, so I can read “Final Crisis” soon enough…just got thru the Countdown to Final Crisis and for some reason thought his death was in it, but was wrong-_-

Not including its line-up in the 90s which rocked compared to nowadays, I don’t really watch Disney channel anymore myself….did watch Kim Possible which I thought was good. Oh, no way…their live action shows leave something to be desired. True, though I’m sure you can catch it online.
Hmm, I don’t know why I like Bakugan…I just never really stopped watching it and then when I heard about the 2nd season, I thought what the heck. As for Ben 10, it’s not so bad, ‘specially compared to other things that’re on CN and other channels…though Clone Wars is by far the best currently airing CN show. Well, that was a factor for me (:P)…though I didn’t realize it would that style of animation…a tad childish, not like the previous series of 2000s. Not bad, but certainly not great. Hmm, that is strange. You should, it’s great.
I hear ya. If CN, Nick, Disney, and other great channels of old want to put crap on now so be it…let them realize what they’ve done as they lose viewers and all their shows are cancelled….just so long as there’s one channel that runs reruns of the old classics.
Ah, Kids WB used to be my obsession every Saturday morning. Good times, indeed. I had originally gotten into X-Men Evolution from when it was on Cartoon Network. Every night right before bed from 10:30-11 I would watch it. (Back when I had a bed time. :P)
That sucks. I still get my fill of old shows since they air a lot on Disney XD. Static Shock, all the X-Men shows, all the Spider-man shows, Iron Man, and the Fantastic Four...can't say I watch them all, but I have seen them on. I was never really into Batman. My cousin used to be obsessed with him when he was little. However, I did watch the first few seasons of "The Batman". That was prolly the only animated Batman movie I've seen (since I've seen the recent live action movies).
I finally did! :P Last week I played Spider-man 2 and finally beat Doctor Octopus at the end. I could never, ever beat that mission, but I finally did and then yesterday I re-watched Spider-man 3 and today I started the game, which is different. = / I had hoped it would be like Spider-man 2 (game), but they changed some stuff around. I'm still early on in the game, though (just beat Harry as New Goblin when he attacks Peter in the beginning of the movie). I still need to play Legends.
I had known he was in it as well, but when I first read that he was in it I was a tad surprised. True, I like that about him too. Hmmm, I like most of them I think. I probably don't know as many as you, but I "favorite" who I like by their powers. I discriminate in a sense. :P

Yeah, I heard something about the movie. Didn't they make one recently and then they did another right after as a re-boot? Speaking of re-boots, I read somewhere that they might re-boot the Fantastic Four movies since they refuse to make a third since the second didn't make more than the first. =/ Hm. I have read about the Avengers series as well. I don't know a lot about it, but it does sound familiar so I must have read it somewhere.
I totally agree. I'm kinda mad they didn't go for the Gwen story in the movies. I did give the show my rating last night. :P They're airing the last episodes of Season 2 here..well, they just started airing the new episodes again I should say, since they haven't in awhile according to Wiki, but anyway, they said at the end of the episode last night that next week's episode is new too so I'll be sure to watch it.
I was just randomly reading on Wiki and it said that Carnage also released a "child" named Toxin? Woah, completely did not know that. In any case, I hope Carnage makes an appearance whether it be in the movies or in future seasons of Spec. At least they added his human form in that one episode of Spec.

I definitely did get used to it. I finished it last week..took me around 4 days I think. I'm so annoyed that season 3 isn't confirmed. :( I wasn't sure about it at first, but I quickly got used to it. I'm glad they're going with Gwen's story since I know she wasn't really added in the movies..except being in the 3rd, and she didn't have a whole relationship with Peter in the 90s series. I didn't even know her full story until I finished Spec. and read about her on Wiki. I wonder what they'll do even if Spec continues with more seasons since they seem to be avoiding the whole death thing. But it was really good. I hate Liz. xD But I like Peter's voice and the whole script and how it's done. It's pretty good. Thanks for the recommendation...I probably wouldn't have started it if you hadn't told me about it.

Sounds right since that came after the 90s Spiderman series. Hmm, i cant recall if the '03 series had Fury...i dont believe so. Yep, that's true...course, havent seen Daredevil. At least in the comic series Runaways, kingpin is white. And man, in the Spectacular Spiderman, he's some kind of albino shark hybrid. Heh, wouldnt be surprised...at least though they didnt take the idea from nowhere. Exactly, John Stewart isnt a change of color.
I'd ask what the he!! have they done to our favorite shows/series/characters, but there's no point anymore. Galactus' Mom.....what an original idea. Course, wasnt aware he had one:P For some reason, i just cant picture Galactus taking orders from his mother. Though, after having watched the pilot, the show isn’t terribly bad…some potty jokes and silly action scenes…but not bad. Course, I’m definitely not saying it’s ANYWHERE near the other series and would gladly sacrifice eps if A) not enought time and/or B) running out of room on dvr.
While we’re on the subject of Marvel and X-men, I just read a great comic book about Magneto that you should check out as well if you havent already. It’s called “X-men: Magneto Testament”…it’s part of the Marvel Knights collection. They call it an origin story, but he really only uses his powers in one scene (unknowingly) and it‘s never discussed….course, I suppose there are subtle hints.
True. What I mean is that it had the feeling of a Naruto filler and that’s not a good feeling. Heh, good question….the previews look promising and I like the name, but that means nothing in this case. At least with Bleach, the fillers are pretty gd for the most part (as is the case with the current filler arc, enjoying it), so the movies have more of a guarantee to be better…such as the 2nd movie. Can’t wait for the 3rd to be subbed…should be soon.

Good question. Mhm. Actually, it’s been in the works since ‘06 or so…it’s called “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract” and they say the characters will be modeled after their comic counterparts than the series. However, it’s been postponed for now:( And now I see there’s another movie in the works, but so far only robin is confirmed as being in it.
Not sure what series are for the next season, so dunno how many I’ll be starting. But I will be watching both of those (rewatching DtB S1 now) and Inu yasha.…and I know of one more, Winter Sonata (or something like that). Lol, finally finished the 1st series (IY)a month or so ago:P Course, I still need to watch Summer‘s series….and I do mean watch, not finished *sigh*

Hmm, believe I’ve read JLA: New World Order and liked it. Heh, been wanting to read that trilogy for a long time now…the library system in MA didn’t have all 3 and I wanted to read them all at once and since then I forgot about it…I could always buy it, but I’ve got other things to spend the money on. *checks* Well, what do ya know, the library system here has it, so I just placed a hold on it…should get in a couple of days. Thanks for reminding me about it:P Oh and I guess you couldn’t find it, but there is a single volume that contains all three vols, called “Superman omnibus : the death and return”. That’s the one I placed my hold on and I checked and it contains all the issues associated with it.
Something tells me hoping and Disney arent compatible….Hah, then again, some of the shows disney has on now could be considered more damaging to children *eyes roll* But in Disney’s defense, I must point at that starting in Oct, their DisneyXD channel will air Shipuuden, so that says something about what they allow. Then again, P1 was on CN and it was kiddified for the most part. I still have hopes for it, but would have rather it aired on AS or even Sy-Fy.

That's true. Now that I've seen more X-Men with the movies and the new show, I find it odd that Evolution focused on them being in high school. =/ I still love that show, though. Yeah, I know. I was so pissed and sad when it ended with just the quick flash-forward. I wanted to see the Phoenix saga so bad.
Yeah, I hope they use her more in the second season. I'm not sure on her back story, but of course I'd like to see X-Men Origins: Storm. :P I agree. I find her to be super skinny in the new one too.
The movie was really good. I'm officially a fan of Robert Downey Jr. He really impressed me. Yeah, you unlocked him towards the end along with 3 other characters. I don't remember, though. Haha, I did manage to beat that game, but I think I might play it again soon. Yes, that's the good thing about seeing it so late in the game because now I don't have to wait that long for the sequel.
Origins: Wolverine was great! Hugh Jackman was great as always. I wasn't familiar with his love interest, though, but she was cool. It was cool to see Emma at the end too, even if it was for a few minutes. Gambit was cool too. I'm not that familiar with Deadpool other than him being in the games, but I'm excited to see his spin-off. Is is going to be part of the X-men saga as in his back story or separate? Also, have you heard anything for Magneto's? I wasn't sure if they were still gonna do it. Anyhow, I'm also excited to hear that Origins Wolverine 2 is gonna be in Japan. =P (if it's true, that is) But overall, I loved it.
I was actually going to comment you earlier, but I wanted to watch at least an episode of the show first so I just finished the first episode. I also went through my list to see what I'll be starting and it looks like only 3 or 4 are definite and then 1 or 2 maybe's. I don't plan on starting more than that, though. Anyway, back to Spider-man, I liked it. At first when it started I wasn't sure about the animation since all of their eyes look really weird, but the story seems decent so far. I found the theme song to be kinda catchy too, lol. I'll stick with it. Idk where it is in any airing schedule, but I found the first 13 episodes on youtube so, yeah. =P
Definitely makes sense. If you grow up with it, you don't really see it as older animation. I know what ya mean. It looks like it was the most in depth, not even just because X-Men Evolution wasn't that long, but because from bits of episodes that I've seen with Rogue flying and everyone having different powers and stuff, well, I can tell they got a lot further into it than the other series. That's why I appreciate the new series since they actually got into Phoenix and new mutants that Evolution (the only X-Men series I've seen, aside from the live action films of course) didn't go into.

That's the main thing that ticked me off about Iron Man (animated) to be honest...them being young. I have seen the Iron Man movie..only recently actually..and absolutely loved it. It was really my first in depth Iron Man experience since the only other time I knew about Iron Man was when he was in X-Men Legends. =P So the movie was definitely an eye-opener for me...since I'm a fan now (at least of the live action films)..can't wait for the second. ^^ Speaking of films, I got X-Men Origins yesterday so hopefully gonna watch it tonight. ^^ Been waiting to see it. -_-

Yep, finally found time to marathon it online. I watched an episode of the 90s X-Men last night...something about Colossus' hometown being destroyed and Jubilee was helping him. Not familiar with that one, but it wasn't bad...I just don't prefer the older animation.
