Concerning anime I'm a highly diverse viewer and always appreciate receiving a few recommendations so feel free to contact me about anything anime related where either you or I could the help the other. I've noticed that I have something of a thing for the romance genre because of developing relationships and pretty much like all genres though I do tend to avoid yaoi and sports. Ecchi mostly doesn't bother me but I hate it when it's done unnaturally with panty shots out of fucking nowhere or when they make a nude scene but decide they can't have it and for some reason feel compelled to censor half of the screen. I also draw a clear line between ecchi and hentai as hentai often lacks my favorite thing, solid character design. Even though I'll watch hentai if it's connected to something I've watched storywise or if it has a VA whose complete work I plan on watching (considering that with Kappei Yamaguchi and a couple others).

With manga I don't tend to spend so much time but sometimes end up getting absorbed and wasting my night just like with anime. Currently I'm mostly reading things that I've seen in anime form that have very different story or went on longer than the anime adaption. I also have a weird tendency to buy random volumes that I see on a shelf without always even checking what they are about but these usually don't lead to anything as I should at least start off with the first one.
