The Big Order starts out solid but drops the ball on episode 6. MC has an intriguing backstory and reminisces of Ajin and Code Geass with the plot devices. The animation quality was good too. As of episode 5 I had this show rated as one of the top 5 shows of this season. Episode 6 came as a slap to the face. The studio must have had low ratings and said 'Who needs a cohesive storyline anymore when the show is about to be cancelled'' The constant changing of scenes and time skipping without any prelude was horrible. Okay so after finishing up Prince 1/2 and Yureka I came across LMS. Honestly, it's the best recommendation I've ever received.
I loved this light novel series. I'm currently on volume 15 and it keeps on getting better. The characters are humorous and grow with you as you read along. You'll love Weed/Hyun so much and he's such a funny guy. Then you throw him into an epic story and everything is amplified a thousand times. Overall, this is the pinnacle of a light novel about MMORPGs. |
