The managaka uses the baseball setting (he loves it) and focuses more on romance. The Big Windup is mostly just sports. Characters are great =)
I did as well. Just get on with it! I've rewatched it so many times, and have come to not mind it as much a little more.

Rained here today as well. Was nice because yesterday was way too hot and even though it was suppose to cool down today it didn't by much til it rained.

I am glad you are liking the series, I hope it stays that way. Then perhaps you could watch Touch and tell me if it gets better or not =D I have it downloaded but it hurts my eyes so much!!

The first episode killed me! I had no idea she was going to die, I had misread the synopsis and thought it was about the two of them. It took me several weeks to pick up the series after that episode because I was so upset.
Opening song is pretty catchy =D I watch it every time lol. Hope you continue to like the show.

Recommendations and my own personal anime hunting for me, though I don't remember adding 90% of them =D
Can't say that I am enjoying it, but I am not hating it either. But I take it back, don't feel like watching that tonight. In a downright hateful mood, I need something vicious.

Yeah if you are rating most of the anime you watch as bad or average perhaps you are right, no point in wasting your time.
My mother in law is leaving today, hoping to catch up on Maou-sama and then put a dent in Neon Genesis. Would like to finish that, it came recommended from one of the game forums and I have been trying to watch what was suggested to me before I post again but it's been difficult with this series.

Ahh I see. There are way too many anime to watch sometimes with schedule restraints.
And oh wow, I thought that Eren really would find some way to come back. I do see that possibility though of focusing the show on Mikasa. I would like that better, honestly. Eren, although likable, makes the anime a little too predictable. I'm excited for the upcoming episodes.

Yeah, I feel like this season is pretty meh so far. I think Hataraku no Maou-sama is the best this time for me. :) It's super hilarious and done so well. I'm in love with HxH and Uchuu Kyoudai too, but those are from past seasons.
I'm starting to like Shingeki no Kyoujin more these last few episodes. It is pretty predictable though, and too "flashy" for me, and I think that's why I was really turned off before. I'm warming up to it though, I think Mikasa makes a more interesting MC than Eren did. I really liked the episode that came out this week. I thought it was really well-paced, exciting, and just a good watch overall.
