If anyone for whatever reason stumbles upon my profile, it's worth nothing that my ratings are almost entirely based on personal enjoyment and don't quite represent what I think of the show on the whole. Especially as my taste grows and changes. I'd like to take the time to reevaluate some shows on a more objective level but that would require rewatching a lot of things I haven't seen in a long time, some of which I don't even care to rewatch. Don't bother commenting on my wildly inflated scores.

I actually mostly agree with you. I get that the anime's purpose is to provide entertainment to viewers through a bunch of gun fights and that it isn't about creating a deep story. It's just that, like I mentioned in my review, it wasn't enough for me personally to enjoy the anime. Plus the narrative was simply too bad for me to ignore, even if it isn't the main focus of the anime. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the show though :)

Thanks man for the response on the Kino thread. I agree, I shouldn't really have to go any farther in explaining the themes of the show than that. Feel like I'm playing into his game, but whatever, its actually helping me break down why I love the show so much. That being said, I probably can't keep this up much longer, lol.
