Anime was one of my earliest obsessions, largely by way of Toonami in the late 90s and early 2000s. In my early teens I got more into the Adult Swim lineup before having a bit of a falling out with anime as a whole when I started high school. Simply put, I wasn't a fan of the direction anime was going in at the time, wasn't all that big into the big 3, and got further turned off by the massive surge of moe/CGDCT that became prevalent by 2011.

It wasn't until mid-late 2014 that I rediscovered my love for anime, between a rewatch of Tenchi Universe and the Space Dandy simuldub. After that, I was an ardent viewer of Adult Swim's Toonami revival, eventually discovering my favorite anime of all time, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. These days, anime is a big part of my image and it's actually not too often I watch other stuff, if that tells you anything.

As I mentioned above, I am a die-hard fan and staunch defender of English dubs. Though there are many shows I've watched subbed, and often watch shows I like in both formats, I refuse to go along with the general weeb hivemind narrative that all dubs are bad. Honestly, people who still think that are mentally stuck in the early 2000s.

I am also an avid cosplayer and regularly attend cons when I can. I make and sew all my own stuff.
