 Hello! I'm an Undergrad in Japanese Studies and International Relations, enjoying anime and manga was simply a side effect of this (shrug). Japan has been my home and place of study in the past and I hope to go back soon to practice my language skills further and obtain licensed fluency. Anime wise I tend to watch anything that peeks my interest, is recommended to me, or has alright reviews. Sometimes I get incredible shows like Ping Pong that make my adrenaline pump and my heart pound. Other times I question my life choices like I did in the first minute of watching Hand Shakers (we all make terrible mistakes, it happens). Usually I try to watch anime with others because solo bingeing is brutal unless the show is literally too good to stop watching. Also, pay no mind to my currently watching section on my list at any given point in time. That will always be a total cluster-fuck and will NOT be cleaned out any time soon. Manga that I read tend to only be recommendations from friends or shows that I liked enough to continue the series without waiting; however, once in a while I do end up going out into the literary abyss and find a truly amazing piece of writing, such as Carnby Kim's works in Bastard, Sweet Home, and PIGPEN. I also listed any webtoons that I've read or plan to read in my bio since most of them won't appear on the site.
