hi, I found another similar point in Gaara and Sasori (but maybe you won't like it...)
they both changed
Gaara likes Naruto, and as the leader of his village doesn't kill
and Sasori öhm... died (so he can't kill)

I don't watch Naruto, played a few games tought. I heard rumors that it'll air on tv here in the summer, so I wont waste my time with a few hundred eps from the same series right now.
The thing I love more about Gaara is the kanji Love on the forehead of that sadistic and killer boy.

I categorize my anime sprees like this:
1-8 episodes=small dose
8-14 episodes=normal dose
14-27=acceptable
27 episodes=unhealthy. <---- I'm aiming for this one ^^ You? =P
