About Last_Sinner
My anime blog -

Yours truly is a 30 year old that resides in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. I have been an anime and manga fan for about a decade. The broader nature of content that can be found within the industry as well as its appeal to a wider audience bracket has always fascinated me. The things I value most in the titles I like are a story that flows from beginning to end, isn’t completely predictable and treats its characters with relative respect. I like my characters to have personality and variety – I’m not the type that likes everything light and moe, nor in excess and constantly over-the-top. Good animation is nice but not a necessity. A soundtrack that enhances the mood of the series and ties in with what scenes are achieving is a big plus for me.

You alive?

I just started it. Exactly how you described, but I did think that the studio, in effort to match Miyazaki, made the characters' heads wobble a bit too much. But that's hardly a flaw, just nitpicking. Hard to believe it comes from Brain's Base, which has become obscenely popular since Baccano, Natsume Yuujinchou, Durarara and the recent Mawaru Penguindum.

As for your layout...well, it gets the job done, and that's all that matters when a blog is more content-oriented. I would suggest you add a RSS link for people to subscribe, a Twitter link, maybe a Blogroll and some sort of picture somewhere, because it pulls down on the blog's personality a bit. No need to be extravagant, some of the best blogs contain very simple layouts.

As for general tips, I'd suggest you join AnimeNano and just get into the aniblogging community :)

Have fun and feel free to contact me, here or on my blog.

Solid Kamichu! review. Nice parallels drawn between Miyazaki's work and this.

So how did you manage to drop Shakugan no Shana when you've finished all the episodes? <_<

Deer50 | 06-18-11, 6:31 AM
I agree

Deer50 | 06-17-11, 8:18 PM
good rating for katanagatari ^^

Eh, that just tells me what you like. There really wasn't anything I was wondering about aside from the odd score distribution which you already explained.

Odd. Our compatibility is at 64.7%.

So either you really like things or really hate things. Hrm, I guess that makes sense.

The problem that I found up until recently was that I like everything much too easily, and so my score curve leaned sharply to 7 and 8. But then I felt compelled to treat the last three numbers--8, 9 and 10--for the things I really, really, really enjoyed. A 6 might be low for some people, but that's actually defaultly enjoyable for me, thus my scores represent something that has remained constant: I'm easy to please but hard to impress and piss off.

Upon trying to figure out how you had a relatively higher amount of 8/10 and beyond ratings than me but have a lower average, I used the math script thing that creates graphs.
...That's a very unique score spread. <_<;

Anyway, like I said, I'm somewhat middle ground on challenging anime. At times they're just sort of "there" for me, such as Lain, and at others I really love them, like Paranoia Agent.
...Sorry, I still can't get over how REMARKABLY ODD your rating dispersion is. I mean yeah everyone has opinions and I've seen it all at this point, but >___>
