Wut are ya talking about, another > higurashi any day. I dont see how the music was cheesy, as for the art I hope you watched it in 720+. The plot was decent but really it was the mastery over technical aspects that created the intense atmosphere.

The technical qualities are without a doubt superior to higurashi.
Doesn't have a retarded harem base like higurashi.
Not to mention the intense Op.

I guess your just too crazy for me to understand.

Maybe finish episode three, before episode 3 I was getting the idea that nothing would actually happen and that the series is built on empty suspense, but I felt better after episode 3.

Since ya enjoyed higurashi I thought you might be able to appreciate this.

This was the first time that I got truly scared by anime, the atmosphere built by the soundtrack and the dark art style just makes this too ... intense. Intense is the best way to describe it.

Watch till episode 3.
