Now don't let the low rating of this candy filled show turn you away. I think a lot of people should give this show a chance and here's why.
The number one thing that got me hyped for this show was it's incredible and unique art style. Just looking at Hotaru (girl with the purple hair) on the cover made me know the aesthetic is going to be amazing, which it was. And the story also sounded very promising too.

to many different wonders of dagashi (candy) and we learn many different things from this. Buuuut, that's not a very good storyline and can seem rather bland. However, the show manages to keep this entertaining! It's crazy with a story like this kept me waiting each week for the next episode to come out.
The main problem I had with the show/storyline is it's constant use of promoting. You can now buy candy seen from the show, doesn't that seem like their intention all along? just to make these candy companies more profit. It had me wondering why I was watching it in the first place however, I did like their use of candy such as using them for episode titles. Though it still seemed like Hotaru was actually trying to say "buy this!" and "this dagashi is also great!" whilst constantly throwing dagashi right at the screen.
Art 10: The art is beautiful, wacky unique with a wide range of bright colours and darker colours. Each character had memorable designs which I know I'll never forget!
Character 9: Ah Hotaru and Saya...two lovely female characters. We have crazy candy loving Hotaru whilst we have bitter-sweat coffee shop owner Saya. Kokontsus character was..okay? his personality didn't really have anything different too it which isn't so bad for this anime since we already have Hotaru. However, I still think he could have been more exited over the fact that he gets to be with stunning Hotaru for most of his free time. There wasn't a lot of character development which we missed out on unfortunately.
Enjoyment 9: It's actually really interesting to learn about different traditional Japanese candy in each episode. Each candy has a different story, told in the most wackiest way possible. Although, sometimes it can be a little frustrating just hearing about candy all the time when we could hear more about these funny characters.
Overall 9: I think this show is something I would recommend to a lot of people, especially those who like stupid comedy and want something different in an anime. Enjoyable but also has problems which can ruin the show massively for some people.

What makes Anne Happy different from all the other slice of life moe shows? the characters and setting. The show still maintains the generic slice of life themes with "cute girls doing cute things" but holds a different personality altogether that makes it unique.
Story: 8: The show is about a class in Tennomifune Academy and all the students have terrible luck, or "bad karma" as the synopsis states. It's main focus are the three main heroines, each with different personalities and "bad karma" which follow them throughout the show. With the help of their teacher, they strive to have a happy school life instead

of being unhappy with the "bad karma". Even though the three girls struggle immensely, the show has lots of comedic gags to keep it entertaining and not drain out the viewer.
Art: 9: Beautiful bright and colourful visuals with a few dark-ish dull colours and scenes to go with the situations for each character. Even if you don't like the plot, the visuals can keep you watching.
Sound: 7: Joyful and catchy opening, I also really liked the small piece of music they used between episodes, it actually reminded me of the show Doraemon.
Character: 8: Anne Happy presents characters with some-what relatable problems. My personal favourite character was Botan, I found her the most relatable as she borderline hates herself. Throughout the show she will make a small comment towards an aspect about herself that she doesn't like, commonly her appearance. Nonetheless she is an absolute joy to watch, very kind hearted and mature. Ruri has some unique points with her personality and An is very unlucky but still manages to smile.
Overall, these characters very entertaining to watch, I almost guarantee you will find a character to love. Honestly, each of them are lovable in different ways.
Enjoyment: 7: Yes, this show was entertaining but the ending was a slip up for me. It lost the "slice of life" premise and I felt like there are still some more things we can learn about the characters. You will also find an episode or two which drags like hell, but be sure to keep your hopes up for this show even if you do land on an episode like that. I found two of these types of episodes.
Overall, if you like slice of life and moe characters but want a change from the generic personalities then I highly recommend this. You either find it cute and entertaining or still too cliche and boring as hell.

The specials were actually better than the anime itself.
These short episodes felt much more entertaining. I don't think you need to watch the series for the enjoyment of the specials, they're very cutesy and a joy to watch.
There wasn't exactly a story, just Youto and Tsukiko presenting their own little show talking about pictures of the other characters. Tsukikos voice actor was mainly enjoyable. With only two of the main characters, actually makes these fun shorts entertaining to watch.
The only thing that bothered me was the cliche "you're a pervert" that Tsukiko always says to Youto and him usually denying it, or going a

long with it. His same usual character. It got really old, really fast.

If you're a big fan of vocaloid, you will have probably heard this song before/watched the video. If not, I highly recommend watching the music video before reading the manga, it's a pretty good song.
Story 7/10: Based on the song from 3 vocaloids, Miku, Kaito and Luka called 'Acute' we now have this manga that is filled with jealousy, regret, loss and dark senses. love triangle between them. With only 5 chapters, things start to develop quickly jealousy wise between Miku and Luka. What we see at the start is a loving, fun and happy friendship which is then ripped apart towards the end. The story doesn't sound very convincing but seeing the effects on the characters it was brings this story to life.
Art 8/10: The art was really nice to look at with the character designs an all. Miku even gets some yandere eyes
Character 6/10: I couldn't see the characters being likeable, not even the ones that had been torn apart the most. The let jealous overtake them and ruin what a lovely friendship. Luka, betray Miku as did Kaito. And Miku acted upon this and went completely yandere and over the top which had led to regrets in the end.
Enjoyment 7/10: It's a fun read, to see what happens to the characters and how they're going to cope in this love triangle. Also to see Kaitos decision, weather he will stay with Luka or go back to how things used to be with Miku. Unfortunately it leaves you disappointed in the end.
Overall 7/10: Plot and characters were a little bad, but it was effective and can be entertaining for a lot of readers. Just remember that 5 chapters with a story like this doesn't go a long way.

I had a few expectations before watching Welcome to the N.H.K. One being that I was looking for an anime a lot like Watamote. The second one, I wanted to find another character with quite a few similarities with Tomoko. The main character from Watamote.
Story 9/10: Its safe to say that this anime can be hilarious and painful. And with those two, you get a great entertaining show. thoughts on the whole "wage-slave/corporate-slave" type of thing, which are the types that really fit into this anime since they're mentioned a few times. It's just a matter of finding them which isn't too hard. Following the life of our hikikomori college drop out, Sato, can really show us great details on what being a NEET really is. The word you'll find most in this one is "conspiracy", "everything is just a conspiracy".
Art 8/10: The art for me at first, was a little bit of a let down. I didn't find it all that appealing but then it blended in nicely. Very pencil like drawings which create the wacky-est faces, I loved it in end.
Sound 8/10: Had a nice opening which there's actually two of, just slightly different instrument wise. The first ending was catchy and the background music fitted in well with the situations that were happening.
Character 9/10: Ah yes, some outstanding characters in this one. The characters were the most enjoyable part of the anime for me.
Starting off with the main character Tatsuhiro Sato, he is the hikikomori of the show. Being a twenty two year old college dropout, afraid of society, he doesn't have much going for him. The struggles are almost endless but always keep you watching. Sometimes he has the mental breakdowns facing reality over and over, knowing how bad his condition is. the isolation he's in can be pretty painful to watch, however there's the few scenes in which he talks like he's proud of how long he's been hikikomori. Which is almost four years. In this culture, he found it difficult at times to get by which is when the painful moments start to kick in and take action. I made sure to prepare myself for these types of scenes which involve mental type of conditions that are quite fierce.
The next main character we have is Nakahara Misaki. Sweet girl at the start of the story, mysterious and decided to help Sato out of his hikikomori lifestyle. This was for both their benefit, for her "big project" and to help Sato lead a normal life. Once again, whilst watching this I couldn't help of think of the "normal life" being nothing more than a "corporate slave". Her character development went a little down hill, though not in a completely bad way, things just got a lot more dramatic as her worries and troubles build up. She especially admired her relationship with Sato which may have triggered off the dramatic events to come for her. Sweet girl non the less.
I'll go with one last character for this series, this review won't need more than three. Anyway, next there's the "otaku-next-door" Yamazaki Kaoru. Yes, he lived next door from Sato. He would usually be playing some kind of anime music all day, which annoyed Sato like hell. They happen to become friends threw this, and that's where their relationship took off. Yamazaki spent most of his time trying to motivate Sato, which was a serious pain in the ass for him. They're both working on a project, and in order to keep it going, he needs to keep Sato involved. Even though Yamazaki did most of the work. He had a nice character development, showing his struggles which are mostly the same as any other male otakus out there. Such as trying to get a girlfriend and what not rather than settling for a body pillow. I actually liked how Yamazaki showed his love for "gal games", anime characters and buying anime merch. It all fits in perfectly with his character.
Overall 10/10: Well, to sum everything up. This was a very enjoyable anime, especially if you can relate to either of the characters. There isn't a lot of characters in this show which makes is tons better. Each character has their own problems and some ways to over come them, we get to see each of their stories and get an idea on what the "real world" is like. I think the shortest way to sum this anime up is that its about a shut-in and quite a lot of people around him want to help with his condition. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. It always left me with the question, "Wouldn't it be good to be hikikomori, having a nice carefree life with no responsibilities". Well, that's something you find out watching this anime.

A strong passion for sushi? yes, this show will fill you in on everything sushi-wise
Story 7/10: Three police men out on a mission, known as the sushi police. Defending sushi is any state it gets in. This could be that some restaurants are serving bad sushi instead of fresh. Or, they're serving sushi as a side dish for something else sushi would not go with. I think its safe to say these three men are the "sushi experts" and take you on a wacky journey exploring Japans finest sushi.

not your usual anime art style, but more of a western cartoon look a like. Of course its still a Japanese animation which makes it an anime, I don't think a lot of people realize that. The art can be off putting just a little bit.
Character 7/10: These three main police characters are just plain funny. Wacky, fun characters to watch. First we have the two more serious characters whilst the other character is more energetic. The main guy of the group of three, tends to show a lot of knowledge about sushi and can get pretty serious about it.
Sound 3/10: The music in this anime is not all that appealing, apart from the ending theme which I happen to really like. It gets catchy after a while.
Enjoyment 7/10: Watching characters get so exited, serious and determined over something as small as sushi is surprisingly entertaining. Not exactly a "wanting the next episode to air quickly" type of thing, but its not a drag to watch.
Overall 7/10: Since this is still airing, all I can say is that is keep me watching. This isn't something worth to drop unless you really can't stand the animation, or the fact that its a really silly type of show. A unique new anime I think is worth just trying out. 4 episodes or so, since they're only 3 minutes each.

Can this be where anime goes too far sometimes? I think yes. I came into this anime with the though of that there will be a slight uncontrollable brother problem in which his sister has to deal with. I had thought this was going to be a about a sister and her struggles to get rid of hr brothers abnormal desires towards her. However, it was not that at all. Complete stupidity and dreadful watching
Starting out with the story:- In this situation we have a sex-crazed sister and a sex-crazed brother. And what do they do? fall for each other in different moments.

Throughout the entire anime we see them both have some kind of disgusting thought about each other which also gives this anime its childish theme. While the title goes onto say "I don't like my big brother at all" this doesn't appear in the anime. You never really see them both rejecting each other, although in some cases her brother tries not to think about his sister in such ways. They live in a family of four and each have their own different friends; how this girl has friends ill never know. The brother leads on a dating sim, girl-loving, perverted type of life while the sister is nothing but a crazy stalker for her brother. Unlucky for her she meets a rival.
All the time I ask in these type of situations is that, why would they go for a guy like that? I mean, the guy is a straight up loser with nothing to offer. They might as well drool over a rock and that that has shape!. So, its pretty much the daily lives of two incest lovers who cant seem to admit it. I know a few people didn't find the show half bad, I think that comes from the comedy side of things which can actually throw in a good laugh every now and then.
Secondly we have the art:- What in the word is this? whilst I thought the themes of this show were childish, get a load of the character design!. Stick like arms, huge monkey ears, massive hands and feet, all this bulky hair. All of the characters looked like they were dying of starvation and it made things really uncomfortable. And with that, the girls still manage to get a little fat poking out of the top of their knee socks. How freaking tight must these knee socks be to push even a little fat from those horrible twig legs!. So, the fan service in this is very unbarring to watch. In fact, they unfortunately created a beach scene in which you get a glance at they're hip bones poke out. Ah, what a sight.
Now its time for the characters:- I happen to think they were dreadful. Every single character was set in this lewd, perverted mind state which made it look as though it was a show about teenagers going through puberty. And nobody got time for that.
The sister (Nao) straight up freak-show with this character. 90% of her thoughts and actions is based on her brother, and how she sort of "wins him over" and "seduces him" but finding his different fetishes. Honestly, this guy will never get a girlfriend with this thing for a sister.
As for the brother himself (Shuusuke) just your average Japanese perverted male I guess. The majority of his spot light was focused on his perverted actions and desires. Although he isn't entirely interested in his sister, we see him playing his favorite dating sim in which is lover is his sister. His mind is also mainly set on female features such as panty shots. His fetishes seem to change from one thing to another and he only seems to hang out with other guys who are just like him but with different fetishes. Yep, a boy going through puberty.
Next we have Kondou, who happens to have an interest in BL manga. She seems to be the most normal one in the group and it in fact my favorite character. She Shuusuke in a way that doesn't contain her constantly wanting to give him a boner. She doesn't particularly love him that type of way. We actually see her hate him when they get into their first situation, and then that led to him being her dog. Of course he continues with the lustful thoughts while she sees him as a BL manga supplier. As someone who has a strong interest in BL she had developed a nipple fetish.
Lastly for characters we have another weirdo and that is Shuusukes old childhood friend Iroha. I would say that she is on the same point as Nao, just a little higher. All they both care about is winning over and madly stalking Shuusuke. No matter what he does, she will always be there, even if he's having the usual fap session. I disliked this character a lot too, she just didn't seem to have anything else going on in her life than be Shuusukes freaky stalker. She would also constantly refer back to a memory that she treasures awkwardly of her and Shuusuke. Its rather disturbing to say the least.
Overall:- I thought that this was a fail of an anime or even just a way to get a glimpse of viewers reactions. Leaving aside all the bad things this anime has to offer, it has a few good comedy scenes to it. The biggest let down for this anime is the art style, story and the characters personalities. After watching this I would suggest you watch Yosuga no Sora, its 10 times better. Its waaaay more mature than this and more watchable. That's is you can take another incest as least

This is my first manga review so i'm sorry if its not too good and if i babble on x)
Before reading this, i was yaoi obsessed, in fact it was the only genre of manga i would read. Here's my reaction whilst reading this *Ah...so, he's finally taking him to his apartment. is it good ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)* Soooo yeah, that was kinda my reaction to it. Basically you have a guy selling candy on the street and this cop happens to find him and then that cop pays him, takes him to his apartment and....yeah.
If you're new to yaoi then i would not recommend this, it's rather hardcore to the extreme yet something so weird and different. If you've been a yaoi fan for some time and is looking for something a bit different and out of the ordinary, then i would defiantly give this one a go. The story isn't too bad but lets be honest, I didn't read this for the story however it was alright. Enough to keep you going.
I noticed it only have 6 favorites which shows that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but you happen to see it and isn't that new to yaoi then please try this one out. In my opinion every hardcore yaoi should read this, hands down :)

Alrighty, so here we have another short duration anime. They're actually pretty good and there ins't much to fault on this one. Apart from the fact that you're sat there begging for something totally cool to happen or just something to spice up the show a little bit. But to be fair, since its only 3 minutes long you can't really expect much
Here we have a simple slice of life about 3 girls who are preparing to start high school. Nothing much was happening in this show apart from the 3 girls developing their friendship and managing their experience in high school. There are different

yet very simple scenarios such as chit chats in the classroom, visiting each others houses, studying...that's pretty much it.
The two things i really liked about this show was the character design, art style and also the voice acting. Especially the voice acting of the main character Kanaka Amaya. Her voice just seemed very unique and lovely compared to most of the other show I've seen. Just by listening to her voice you can discover right away that she's an energetic character. Most of the time, i would consider these type of characters to be rather annoying, however this character didn't come across as that. But maybe that could just be because of the short duration in the episodes. I'm sure she would get more annoying if they were 24 minutes each
The next main character is Saki Iwasasa. She has been friends with Kanaka through her other school years and is the tallest in her group of three friends. She's pretty mature and has a passion for sports and games. Since she has always been friends with Kanaka, she is usually seen getting teased by her which i guess kind of keeps the show going. I wouldn't call her a very fun type of character but she's a pretty nice one.
Last of all we have Ayuko Uehara. We see her right in the very first episode who seems pretty motivate about started high school. She is also teased by Kanaka which is mainly because of her height as she's the shortest. She's a very friendly character who's cute and pretty mature. At first she doesn't have any friends until she meets Saki and Kanaka. And that's pretty much the whole story.
In my opinion, if you like the watch cute girls with there daily high school life and don't mind short anime, then this just might be the one for you.
Sorry if this review is a bit waffley, i'm not very good at writing them heh. To be honest i don't think there should be this much writing since the anime is so short.

In anime, anything can happen. Absolutely anything, you name it. In this case we're not talking about the intense "this is messed up" kind of stuff. No, no, we're talking about a split personality or two-faced. Welcome to Himotou! Umaru-chan (My two-faced little sister). Now, heres what I know. You usually get the 'geek/nerd' (otaku) and the popular "perfect" people. However, in this case we see a popular, beautiful, perfect girl who is also an otaku. Welcome to Umaru-chan's life, a perfect girl who eats chips and does nothing but watch anime, play games and read manga all day, while having her handy older brother

to do everything for her. The thing is, outside, nobody knows that she's a hardcore otaku, in fact, she keeps it a secret from everyone apart from her brother of course
Characters:
Doma, Umaru (Umaru-chan) - The most perfect girl in every single way. In looks and personality. Whilst Umaru is outside of her home, we see her as the perfect girl she pretends to be. Everyone will stop and admire her stunning appearance as she walks by keeping her otaku self inside. On the outside, we only see Umaru hang out one friend. Well, for the first 4 episodes or so. Her friend is called Ebina, nana, and not even she knows what her friend really is. You might ask yourself, why? why does she want to hide the fact that she's an otaku?. Well, that's because being an otaku is not a good thing to be, I know a few people who thought it was but it really isn't, especially in Japan. You see it a lot of times in an anime where some of the characters deny being an otaku. When we see Umaru in her home, she changes into a chibi looking character with an extremely cute character type. She has huge tantrums at her older brother for simple things like, not buying her potato chips, cola, and in one episode, over manga.
Ebina, Nana - Ah yes, another beloved character which you just can not hate one single bit. Ebina is of course Umaru-chans best friend. She's friendly, shy, cute as hell and self-conscious but just a delight to be around. She came from a different part of Japan therefore has a different dialect, she gets very scared of letting it out, and that's another thing that makes her adorable. Surprisingly enough, even though she lives in the same apartment block as Umaru and her brother she has no idea about her secret.
Doma, Taihei - Now, I don't know about you but...I was just begging for Taihei to notice how much Ebina-chan likes him. Even though she didn't say anything. Taihei is Umaru-chans older brother. He had already graduated school and is now working and taking care of his little sister. We get to see a little bit of his school life and friends in some parts of the episodes which I think was an amazing touch. He's a pretty simple guy and laid-back, but I wish he could find some kind of hobby just to make his character a little more interesting.

Kirie, Motoba - Last, but not least, we have Kirei. The first person to see Umaru-chan in her otaku chibi form. This character, in most scenes looks like a scary stalker, which she is a little. She is always caught staring at the outside Umaru-chan. But one day she happens to see her inner self when she goes over to her house. Of course Umaru falls into a panic and decides to call herself Umaru-chans little sister. So then, without knowing that this is the real Umaru-chan, Kirie falls in love with this small adorable otaku person. She happens to disliked Ebina-chan a lot as she sees her as a rival because Kirie admires the perfect side of Umaru-chan. She will never know that she has such a strong relationship with her, its a pity.
Overall:
Enjoyment - I think that this is a very enjoyable slice of life anime. They had taken a what could have been relatable character and turned it into something else which was more fun. The comedy is pretty good too, it throws in a few laughs. Although I have to admit, throughout the show, I was becoming rather jealous of Umaru-chan xD I think a lot of people can relate to that x)
