I still update the tentacle club when I can and get news. Also they're finally making a sequel to the original Inyouchu OVA by Amour, set to release in December, I'm totally excited about it!

As for the classic obsession, I'm not sure how to explain it. I've always had a love for sci-fi and lately got into a lot of mecha, and a lot of the good ones are from the 80's so I guess I just kind of naturally started liking a lot of older shows. I kind of grew up with some too so I have never had a problem appreciating older series, unlike some newer anime fans who may not like the dated animation and whatnot, it never bothers me.
