Haha the second I saw Chiri with a shovel I knew what was going down. I'm not sure who but someone has a Lil' Slugger bat and that was just great as well. Ai was fantastic as well.

Yeah, Loving it so far, It's alot darker than I expected and it's had me recoil at the cruelty it shows from people.
Like I said in IRC, the first 2 episodes about the girl being sold to random scum at night, that really hurt to watch tbh, but the fact it can make me feel so gutted is definitely the sign of a good anime.
It's had some really sweet moments too, and Fumika is lovely :3
Oh, I like Fumika's old friend from school as well, the one who breaks out into samurai speech every now and then, think she's voiced by the same girl who played Birdy.

I've seen a couple out but I've stuck with buying the manga. The mangaka really does a good job on it. Least the Shana novels are receiving better treatment than the Haruhi novels though.....
