putting that aside
I am an active anime enthusiast and generally follow the season for the most of the part

YES i watch too much anime for my own good
YES i spend too much time in front of my PC screen
YES i am frequently told to get a life and go outside
YES the only thing i do when i dont watch anime is read manga , play games or tyy to read up on articles which manage to intrigue my less than goldfish of an attention span
( oh and i try to update m blog and fail miserably)

BUT SO WHAT , SOCIETY CANT JUDGE ME

atleast i like to tell myself that

also i hate kuroko no basuket and sword art online
( there i said it , now 99% of people will go cry to their momas )

I cant think of much else about me

Ah, I totally understand then. Yeah, I don't know, I've just never really enjoyed reading comics/manga for some reason. And though I do enjoy reading novels, I find action-heavy novels quite boring since it's harder and takes many more words to adequately describe action in printed form, so reading all the descriptions of all the action ends up boring me -- action's way more enjoyable on video. So I might have difficulty with an action manga like Ippo, but alright, I'll give the manga a try then. Thanks!

Nah, I don't read manga. Yeah, the first season was truly stellar, neither of the sequels even came close for me. But whereas I gave Rising an 8/10 and New Challenger a 6/10 (since I disliked the first half of New Challenger), you gave New Challenger a 9 and Rising a 10, so you obviously really liked the sequels, so why give up on future adaptations? While I unfortunately agree that there probably won't ever be a sequel to match the absolutely perfect 10/10 first season, I still enjoyed the sequels, so I'm stilll looking forward to watching more future adaptations.

I haven't seen the third season yet, still waiting on the blurays, but I definitely know what you're talking about with regards to New Challenger. I have a pretty big list of qualms with that season explaining why I simply didn't enjoy it nearly as much as S1. Still looking forward to Rising though!

Yeah, he used to be a great character. Too bad they completely ruined him in season 2. Just how obnoxious Geromichi turned out to be... the lowest point of season 2 for me.

Gosh, I didn't expect Ippo veterans like you to actually regard my review too highly considering how I designed it more as an advertisement to concisely entice new viewers rather than thoroughly analyze like most other long MAL reviews, but here you are with your splendid compliment! It's actually still my all-time favorite show since no other anime, no other work has so thoroughly captivated and sucked me in as hard as Ippo did, so all I did was try my best to convey these emotions in the review while at the same time keeping it a hopefully short and enjoyable read. I thank you for taking the time to read it, and absolutely, you're most welcome to repost it wherever you'd like.

Volg for sure, and a few others for me too. For example, despite only lasting three episodes, Jason Ozuma's perfectly nice + humble + selfless personality as well as his touching small backstory in the first half of ep 13 instantly won me over to his side.

Hiya again! Planetes was definitely a unique show(I mean a sitcom about garbagemen in space? A bit ridiculous) that was very entertaining and had no filler episodes. It was a good show and well worth watching.

my brother said to me that nisemonogatari isn't as good as bakemonogatari, too, but i'll definitely give it a try.... i think i'll watch fmab next year, bcuz i know that i won't watch it, anymay^^.... and thank you!!!!:D

Read it and you're right, it's great even though it's just a oneshot. The story would be better if it's were a little bit longer though.

I just came across "Fushigi na Techou" while searching for a good horror manga and saw your post in the forum. I really want to read the said series, but can't find it anywhere. Do you know where I should going to find this manga?

i should rly watch nisemonogatari, bcuz bakemonogatari was soooo good, but i can't get myself to watch it:D just like with fma and fmab:)
