...while watching P&S for the first time I noticed how suspiciously similar Stocking was to me, her owning Lenore figures, a Nightmares & Fairy Tales doll, Tim Burton stuff and even a Scary Miss Mary figure like me, having a sister and liking GIR, but I thought it was all just coincidences at the time since I knew there where people in Japan who loved western media (I used to browse pixiv when I was younger to search for Lenore fanart there)... I didn't realize she literally was supposed to be me until I had more time to ponder about it.
I guess it was someone like Hiroyuki Imaishi or You Yoshinari (who both draw fanart of cartoons and comics) that read my old about me info here and took a liking to me cause I was always defending western media

I remember I'd written that I'd always be thankful to Roman Dirge for creating Lenore cause I started reading her when I was 11 and she was a girl in comics I could actually identify with and not a retarded whore like Barbie, and then you have a villain named Queen Barby.... well I wasn't bullied by popular girls when I went to school (annoys me that a lot of idiots assume you must've been bullied as a kid if you enjoy pessimistic entertainment), I was just referring to these shitty Barbie comics my sister would buy that weren't even drawn but just photos of the dolls standing around with speech bubbles pasted over them. I've never considered myself an anime fan and I hate otakus. But since I've always been a comics fan (the first comic I ever read was Valhalla by Peter Madsen, which is a way better comic based on Norse Mythology than that fucking stupid but popular Thor superhero comic), I decided to join this site because of the ability to list manga. The sole reason I didn't leave after a year and kept on being active here was cause I was forced to be the admin of The Alternative Manga Club (not that I minded much as it helped me to discover a lot of great artists) until it was wiped out by a bug in MAL's horrible shitty coding, once that happened I had no obligation to be here anymore and left.
So what've I been doing while I've been gone for around a year? Ehhh, my sister dragged me along to Stockholm because she wanted to see Ricky Gervais live at Globen and didn't want to go alone, I don't even know who he is...
We went to see Rise of the Guardians at the cinema, and she also got me to start watching Doctor Who (we gave eachother Dalek plushies as christmas presents) and Sherlock, I watched all of The Walking Dead, read the entirety of Winsor McCay's Little Nemo comics and I also re-read all of Calvin & Hobbes and Sandman, I watched a bunch of Stephen King adaptations I hadn't seen like the non-Kubrick version of The Shining (also read The Stand comic adaptation; though I knew the plot already as I'd read the book before) ...but man what a lot of great Japanese entertainment I must've been missing out on! I mean if I'd kept on being active here I'd been able to watch such philosophical masterpieces as Seikon no Qwaser instead...

I don't really watch anime anymore, unless it's something I'm sure I'd enjoy such as the new Guskou Budori movie. I'm fucking tired of hearing anime fans hyping pieces of shit like Bakemonogatari or Sword Art Online (the 4th episode of that crap had a little girl almost getting raped by plants... seriously, Japan? I'm sure Tezuka would be proud) and when I watch it I find out it's just retarded fanservice crap. Life's too short for me to watch that kinda trash, I used to watch The X-Files and Tales from the Crypt all the time when I was a kid and I want to re-watch them instead.
I may have 400 anime completed on my list, but it's only because I'm a fan of animation in general and have had absurdly much free time to waste on watching cartoons, It's not a bunch of shounen crap I've watched either, like 55 of the entries on my list are old shorts from 1928-1950; from the Anime Classic Collection DVD's.
I've also watched a lot of western animation as well, I've seen every episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, MLaaTR, Billy & Mandy and Flapjack.
Here's a list of my favorite western animated movies if you want to know: The Brave Little Toaster, Yellow Submarine, Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Iron Giant, When the Wind Blows, Carodejuv ucen, Fantastic Planet, The Nightmare Before Christmas & The Secret of NIMH.
I hate moe, and I've been called an idiot on other websites by retarded anime fans for saying so. I also get called a patriotic American who just can't appreciate animation from a country outside my own. If it's something I fucking hate about anime fans it's how they always insist anime is "deep" and "intellectual" and that makes it better than western animation. Here's a fact for you: most anime isn't fucking deep at all. Certainly trash like Bakemonogatari isn't. Most of it is aimed at kids or perverts.
Also, !!!Higurashi is FUCKING SHIT!!! and NOT scary (unless you're a 10 year old, and if you are go fucking watch Hellraiser or Stephen King's It you dumb little shit instead of crappily animated cartoons, I was watching Evil Dead and The Shining when I was 4 cause my parents never gave a damn what I watched when I was young, you have no excuse for watching retarded garbage like Higurashi), the only way I could get through watching all of that crap was by watching it with my sister so we could mock it together MST3K style (we kept making jokes that the main guy wore a red bra because his clothes were so stupid), the second season of that shit had like a whole episode that was just the underage girl characters running around in bathing suits... that's supposed to be a horror series? As for Panty & Stocking, I thought most fans of the show itself were horribly obnoxious and annoying, what with so many retards of them insisting it was a "deep" negative critique of western media instead of a homage to it (seriously there was this one retard who was like "I bet Gainax is taking the piss at Jhonen Vasquez with Chuck" and I just wanted to kick him in the face. I know how cool it is for some of you to say you hate it because "omg random humor is terrible", but that is a horrible argument, "random" means something unexpected and surprising, when you say you hate random humor you're saying you just want to watch generic stale crap instead, just admit you can't come up with a real criticism against it instead of trying to use "random" as a buzzword insult; this goes for you tards who try to insult other shows like Adventure Time (which I'm not even a fan of) by calling them random as well.
I also know how cool it is to say you hate it because "omg they sell clothes of it at hot topic" or "it's popular with goths and emokids", where I live there is no Hot Topic, and all my years I went to school I never encountered any emokids, I only ever met one girl into goth culture. Invader Zim hasn't even aired in my country, and is as obscure here as Swedish animation like Resan till Melonia is in the U.S., you even have to watch it in a foreign language without subtitles if you want to see it.
I don't like it cause I'm trying to fit in with goths and I don't give a damn if whatever I like is popular with them, cause I’m not a shallow idiot.

Was John Dilworth, creator of the show reviled for trying to force his ‘goth’ agenda on the audience? Maybe…I actually don’t know. I don’t pay too much attention to this sorta stuff unless I’m trying to think things up for these posts, but still….
