it's a shame they didn't put an extra work on it.
then again, they probably would have to Remake the animation from the start to finish.
still love the quality though, im just glad it get's improved on each episodes ^^

It's a shame that you stopped watching at like episode 12, because after that it starts to get serious and there are some interesting plot twists. I think it stops being ecchi too. Oh well. I'm sorry that you hate me now. 8*(

You didn't like it, huh? That's too bad. Well, I guess it just isn't for you. I can't blame you. It seems that people either hate it(Like you) or love it(Like me). That's cool. I'm glad you at least gave it a try. Sorry it wasn't better suited for you. I love that type of ecchi comedy, but like I said, it's not for everyone.

Took a long time to read the manga. I got to volume three and stopped for a long time since the art was really getting me down. Just started watching the show, but I imagine both are very similar...

Ozaki had a pretty strained relationship with his wife. With all the deaths and stuff, they hardly had time to spend together and she lived far away anyway. It's a wonder they hadn't divorced.

Understandable concerning Desert Punk. Though, if you can get a hold of Netflix, they have Desert Punk on there dubbed(Not as good as subbed, but kind of close, I guess) and the animation quality is good, since you either get the DVD or it can be streamed. And I agree with you on Rise of the Silver Surfer. Definitely lame. I didn't really like how Captain America ended either. Personally, I thought that the Iron Man movies were by far the best out of all of the recent superhero movies. I can't wait for the third one. I also agree with you about the Avengers movie. That was classic.

I will. I'll admit... At first, the beginning episode started off kind of slow, but then it quickly caught my attention when it got serious. Very interesting. Nice rec.
I noticed that you have watched/plan to watch a decent amount of super hero anime, such as Iron Man, Wolverine, and X-Men. You haven't given them the highest ratings, but you seem to be at the very least interested in them, since you seem to have watched a portion of the genre. That being said, I strongly urge you to check out Sunabouzu, AKA, Desert Punk. The MC is basically like Batman, but he's perverted, which adds a certain level of comedy in the mix.They are similar in that they both have a lot of interesting gadgets, are quick-witted, intelligent, basically the best at what they do, and both eventually take on apprentices. We seem to have a somewhat high compatibility, so I think you'd enjoy it. Just something you could mull over, I guess.

Instead of posting on the list bit I thought I might just post it here, but the reason I rated Bakuman 2 what I did was becasue the first Season Followed the Manga in basically every aspect, but the Second season, well didn't really changed parts of it which was a bit of a disappointment, maybe I rated it a bit lower, but wouldn't say it deserved more then a 7. If someone watched it without reading the manga it wouldn't surprise me if they gave it a 8 or 9 though, cause it is good.

i think you're the first person I've noticed with this anime in your favorites. it got lost in the shuffle for me during a time when i was sampling many different series. i should really pick it back up one day, it seemed like an interesting show despite some slightly wonky animation at times, and the robot was annoying at the beginning.
I heard many people at the time bitching about the ending or something. i remember some saying it made no sense, or got really crazy and surreal. I'll ask one thing, does Riel develop much as a character? In the first disc she seemed like a character that could end up being very cool or very lame.

Interesting that Ergo Proxy is on your Top List. I sort of forgot about it around episode 5 or so and never got around to finishing it. Plus I heard a lot of very mixed things about the endgame. So why does it deserve to be up there with Hellsing U, Death Note and Baccano?
