Bokura Ga Ita is a show a couple people have mentioned to me. I loooove romance as long as it's not just ALL sappy and weepy. "Adorable and well done, mellow" .... oooooh... yep, I'm destined to love it! ~__^ 3 of my top 5 are romance after all. I guess you're not a big fan of most of that. But.. like you said, if the story and characters are good you'll watch any style.
Oo, slice of life is another genre that rings my bells. You seem to go to the "dark side" of anime. Am I right? Maybe I'm way off?!? I haven't seen much of those. I am watching Darker Than Black and it's so good so far.

Thank you so so much for that first rate recommendation. You're so right about that. It doesn't matter at all what category of show it is, so long as the characters are good and the story isn't repulsive... I'm in. But if the story kicks butt and the characters reek, so gone.

Know just what you mean. No kidding, 2 minutes in and I fell in love with the first three characters shown! Sooooo adorable, and it just kept getting better and better. Such an under appreciated show, huh?
I'm watching Ichigo Mashimaro now. So quirky! The teacher keeps sending that one kid to stand in the hall and every time Nobue puts a smack down on Miu they always just show her face down on the ground with police walkie-talkies squawking in the background. I saw it in your list so I know you've seen it already. I can't believe I only just found out about it.
Speaking of... you've seen like 4 times more than I have. Do you have any suggestions for a show I might not know is good? Kinda like these two, or even something else you really think kills that gets overlooked.

Ah! I see you like Kamichu! That had to be the cutest main character I've ever seen in an anime. LOVE Kamichu! I guess most of our other opinions differ, seeing how we have a "somewhat low" ratings compatibly.
Still, that show was breathtaking. Such beautiful animation, and every character was wonderful. The little martian (surprisingly) was the only thing overly girly for me. humn? Loved the cat, too.

Even though the characters totally went to crap for no reason.. and things didnt really make sense anymoar.
