About my tastes in anime and manga: I actually don't have a specific genre I tend to like most. I read/watch from almost every genre, and like best the ones that mixes genres. I enjoy anything that has a philosophical point or are very psychological (or at least makes you think about something even after you have finished watching/reading it). I also love any series that has good character development. I tend not to like ecchi (hardcorish and medium), hentai, mecha, and overly romantic, soap opera stories (though there are always some exceptions; I'll get back to you on that ^^; and no exceptions for hentai -.-).
It's nice to meet everybody! :D
Also, here's a video a friend of mine showed me recently where female characters from the Final Fantasy series are fighting the female characters from Dead or Alive:

Porfy no Nagai Tabi is supposively about a young boy and his sister who travel the world after something happens to their parents. You're better off reading the synopsis cuz only up to like..episode 5 have been subbed so far. The person subbing it lost all their data and stuff from a computer crash, so there hasn't been anything new since then. =[ And there are like 50 something episodes I think.. But yeah, that and Les Miserables both come from the World Masterpiece Theatre. U can find Miserables episodes on Veoh! <3
A prequel to Paradise Kiss? I haven't heard of it. =O I saw PK though a while back and liked it.

They simply created double accounts to vote in the poll...2 names suddenly got a vote like every 10 seconds which compared to the other names was kind of obvious.
I can only say that it'll have Remilia Scarlet on it from Touhou. I don't create my own sig so I'll leave that up to Pim.

To answer your question, I've traversed the UK and crossed the channel to Paris. With regard to anime and manga, I had a long summer period where I was either working full time or playing in chess tournaments and never really got round to it.
Now faced with long evenings, with various unpleasant French tomes as my main reading material, anime and manga are back to fill the void. ;)
Hope you're well. I imagine the continuing economic excitement in America means your job is still rather interesting?

bakemonogatari was the most interesting anime for me this season, but then the producers trolled me by streaming last 3 episodes. I just remembered, the most interesting episodic anime that i've recently watched was mononoke. I watch one piece, gintama, and started watching armed librarians, but not sure i'll like it.
