I waited till people are done with all the negatives reaction, because I disagree with them. I really like the anime and I will explain why I liked it. Warning. It can contain spoilers.

I started this anime when it was just airing the second episode. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know the story or even what genre. When I start watching the anime it was about the boy Tatsumi. That was with 2 friends on their way to the capital to join the army. But the other 2 friends were earlier and get captured by a rich family. The family also invited ... Tatsumi and when the family got attacked by Night Raid you were introduced by the person called Akame. Because of the title, I know it was more about her and that Tatsumi would die by Night Raid. It was a nice twist for me that triggered to continue for me.

Within Night Raid you met a few people. All those people you will become attached to. Everyone even the person who hate this anime has a personal favorite in Night Raid or The Jeagers. Both thinks they are fighting for good (at least some of the bad side thinks that). But what is the good side? That is for you to decide. The Jeagers that is working for the Kingdom or Night Raid for the Revolution Army.

Yes it was a good vs evil thing. bla bla. It was nice balanced. The both parties were tied to each other and you didn't know which one was stronger. The overpowered weapons they used are called Imperial Arms. These weapon have to fit the person who holds them and they are in different variotions. Like Weapon type, Armor type or even "biological" types. There where in total 48 and I was suprised a lot were showed (26). The others could be destroyed or not part of the anime. But they showed a lot and I loved it for it.

Story was all in one place. All around the kindom. But it also showed how big it was. I like the story of Akame and the others of Night Raid and The Jeagers. So I give it a 9.
Art was very normal not ugly not to good. Not much to complain as long it fitted the anime and it did. Art = 8.
Sound was reasonble. A little quiet sometimes. More music was welcome. But maybe the quiet also fits the anime. That is more for you to decide. Sound =9.
Characters = 10. I loved the background and how attached you can get to them. (HUGE SPOILER) I was in tears when Mine died. She is my favorite. A friend of mine like Chelsea.
Like I said. I really Enjoyed watching it more then anything. So that's a huge 10.
Because the other things like the Art and the Sound are slightly worse. I give it Overall a 9.

And I hear a lot that it was total different from the Manga. But I didn't read it and I have no intention to. I rate this on my perspective from the anime! You can hate or love me for that. But if you didn't read the manga. I suggest the anime.

The anime is done now. I don't know about the manga. I was pleased by the first season and more excited by the second season. The story was good through the whole season except the last episode. It felt like easily done, we don't have the time to make it perfect. But still the rest of the anime make it all a good fit. I wished to see more of the battles for the remains of the emperor.

The characters where nice. I wished to see a lot more ... Chaikas around the anime instead only the last episodes. The story contains only the white Chaika and sometimes the red Chaika. But through the story you hear that there is a lot of Chaikas. So why only those 2 mainly and the black one with her puppets in the end? A little dissepointed though. The other characters where avarange. The Gillette Sqaud was on 3 people a little in detailed. I am talking about Gillette ofcourse, Vivi and Stora. The others of the sqaud you know the names and that is basically it. Toru, Fredirika, Chaika and Akari was where the anime was over. You know them good at the end. You know what they were going to do.

Like I said. I like the anime. That's why Enjoyment is a 9. Story is an 8. Character ( Toru, Fredirika, Chaika and Akari) also an 8. Art was very normal so but still okay same as sound both a 7. Overall it is still an 8.

I would recommend this anime. If you love an adventure, some weird humor, a dragon and magic. And that you are okay with pieces of the human body.

I just finished the anime and I am not disappointed at all. It was an awesome anime. Not like best of the best. But as a child who think of a superhero is this anime perfect. It's story is really great and the characters were maybe not in art developt but their stories are clear.
If you are able to watch an anime with a mind of a child who likes superheros. Totally watch this anime. There is a lot of drama, but that really makes this anime a little different than most others.
I hope you all will enjoy it like I did.

I think this ... is one of the most underestimating animes from this time. You must not look to the anime expecting things like Death Note or Fullmetal Alchamist.
This is a anime based on a card game. But the card game is not that much for important in the anime.

You live with a person that wants to see all good in people. Something done a lot and it failed a lot of times. Even here it kinda fails because that is to much that it supposed to be. But still it gives you thinking about "Can I see the good within everyone". Even it's a bit much, it still fill within the anime.

It's still a anime based for kids. Watch it with a mind of a kid and you will see that the anime isn't that bad as you think. Someone who will protect his life and those around him and play the superhero. The characters are all colorfull and they separate the characters perfectly.

For what I have seen so far. It's really worth watching it if you still have a child's mind
