Both top tier anime for the Mystery genre. Very entertaining and very well done. If nothing else binds these two anime together, than their flawlessness would do just that. Regardless of whether or not you are fans of this genre, it is still highly likely that you will come to love and enjoy both of these vastly entertaining titles.

If you liked Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou add

...then you might like Bokura ga Ita add

They're both shoujo titles which possess a very believable romantic theme between It's two leading protagonists. Also, similar jokes and animation are used throughout both series which denote how similar these two titles really are.

If you liked Fantastic Children add

...then you might like Palme no Ki add

Very similar animation and character design. Also, the main female character of "Fantastic Children" appears to be a cameo of "A tree of Palms" main female protagonist.
