It's ranked #42 all-time, that if anything that could be seen as a severe overrating lol (Which then causes angry bitter backlash due to "liking things I don't like" syndrome)

Also I advise in general against using MAL as any sort of metric of what is good and what is bad. It will make you a happier person!

I agree it's just shounen elements. I'm finding it kind of standard now compared to how it started, but I think it could turn amazing again.
