About KevinRammstein

My name is Kevin!
I am from Germany and I really, REALLY love Anime.
I watch all kind of genres so I am open for (almost) everything. The only kind of Anime I don't usually watch is mecha. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an esception I guess, but it was really good.
I also prefer "newer" Anime 'cause I am not a big fan of "old style" Anime. But still, it's not like I don't like that style "at all".
Since I love KEY, Kanon, Clannad, Clannad After Story, Air, Angel Beats! and Probably Little Busters are one of my favorite Anime.
My favorite Anime of all time is Clannad After Story at this point. It's just...perfect.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is also very special to me because it was one of my first Anime ever.
Actually, I haven't been watching Anime for a very long time. When looking some Anime in televison when I was still younger, there was only stuff like Pokemon and also with some horrible dubbing, so I had the impression that Anime is "just for kids". It has only been until March of last year (2011) since somebody recommended an Anime that turned out to be very good. It was "Tokyo Magnitude 8.0". Since that day, I am hooked to Anime and I can't describe how important it is for me.
Everytime I feel down, I get cheered up by the world of Anime.

I fell like I should also briefly talk about my favorite music...because I am mainly listening to Anime Soundtracks (Opening and Ending Themes of Anime) and also Vocaloid. Actually, Vocaloid is currently my favorite music in general. I like Hatsune Miku the most, followed by Rin Kagamine.
Concerning video games...I really like the Hatsune Miku games of course! Especially Project Diva f. I bought a Vita just for this game. I am not kidding. Well, I also like other video games, mainly Zelda and Mario, but that has nothing to do with this site, so I'll shut up about that.

Manga is something I also read, but I don't like Manga AS much as Anime.
Also I am pretty lazy at reading even Manga. XD Usually I read a lot of Manga in holiday when I have a lot of time.
I really liked the Manga "Ichigo 100%" and my favorite Manga...that actually is NOT a Manga but a light Novel is...well, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. I really hope they will animate more some day.
Well, I guess I wrote enough. Is anybody even gonna read that? Leave a comment if you did! XD
It would be nice to talk about Anime and Manga if you, the reader, wants to! :-)

Well, as far as I know the ONA doesn't change the ending. Rather, it leaves out the ending.
And yeah, the VN is good. Don't know how many times I've gotten endings with other girls than Kotonoha and Sekai though ( ¬‿¬)
But as far as time investment goes, School Days is much shorter than Rewrite.

Wait, 10/10? Really? Wow. Well, I still liked it though, gave it a 7.
And you might want to change one sentence in that post. "Every episode was entertaining as shit". That would kind of imply that you thought every episode was just that, shit. So you might want to change shit to some other superlative.
Anyway, yeah, the show doesn't deserve all the hate. The hate should be focused on Makoto instead. ( ¬‿¬)

Also, no. The bonus episodes do not contain any alternative endings. They're just random extra episodes with no real content, except showing, once again, that Makoto's an ass. But we already knew that. ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

And it's not that I dislike tsundere characters, because they can be pretty well made, even if they're predictable.
Also, of heard she uses a somewhat different voice in Gintama than her standard generic flat tsundere voice, but if she uses her regular voice there as well, the more reason for me to avoid watching Gintama. Good.

Oosran | 05-15-13, 3:08 PM
Well, that's the gist of it, yeah. Most of them have the option to skip all previously read text though, so you'd automatically fast forward to choices and new events that you haven't seen before.
Rewrite is totally worth every second of replay though.
And as I was saying, I think I heard people saying JC screwed up on Little Busters as will, but again, what do I know?
I also disliked Toradora, mainly because of Taiga. Or rather, because she's a flat tsundere voiced by Kugimiya Rie. If there's one voice actress that I hate more than Arai Satomi, it's gotta be Kugimiya Rie when she voices her stereotypical flat tsundere characters. If not for her though, o guess Toradora was pretty decent.
I guess 2 years of experience is more than nothing at least.

Definitely recommend it. If you like Key, you'll like Rewrite, because it has all the regular Key elements in it. The difference from other Key works is that, well, it's just so much better, for no apparent reason. They did have a few different writers to create the story, so that might've contributed to the overall experience. And it's not Maeda Jun who wrote the main story this time. Instead it's written by Tanaka Romeo. Two routes were written by Tonokawa Yuuto, who wrote two of the main heroine routes in Little Busters, and one of the routes was written by Ryukishi07.
But eh, I have no idea if it's been successful or not, but there is talk that Key wants to adapt it, so we will no doubt get an adaption one day.

Then again, you're still relatively new to anime, and I guess you might not have seen all the shows that JC has completely ruined. They have a tendency to do that to whatever they touch. With the one exception being Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, which was surprisingly good.
But to each their own, as the saying goes.

And Rewrite just so happens to be the best work Key has ever produced, and I highly doubt they'll ever make anything better than that. As for Little Busters, I grew bored of the visual novel after 2 hours, and I watched about 5 minutes of the first episode. I've heard JC screwed it up though, at least when it comes to making an actual adaption. But what do I know?
The only studio that could ever pull off a proper adaption of Rewrite is White Fox (Or possibly Bones, but I woudn't bet on it.). That's what I believe. And even they would be hard pressed to make a good adaption of it. It just has a pretty complicated storyline which would be difficult to make into an anime.

Oosran | 05-15-13, 9:19 AM
Yeah, well, I wouldn't say I loved it. But eh, it was good. Not going to say why though. You'll see. ( ¬‿¬)
I assume this "debate" you're talking about has to do with the stuff that happens, and I guess the only reason there's been so much debate about it is because people really didn't see it coming. If I say anything more than that, I will no doubt end up spoiling something, so I'll keep quiet. Also, the visual novel is better than the anime. No surprise there. It's actually one of the best visual novels I've played, at least if you just look at the game mechanics. Nothing quite compares to the greatness that is Rewrite though.

As for Clannad, I used to like the first season, but I quite disliked After Story at first, because I just didn't care about Nagisa. At all. Tomoyo and Kyou all the way. Then I played the visual novel, and I realized how good After Story actually was.
And I personally disliked Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. I just found every single character forced and unnatural. No characters acted the way I'd expect people to act during a situation like that, and it just annoyed me.

Oosran | 05-12-13, 10:14 PM
Oh, I don't think you'll have to ever worry about that. Insulting me on the internet is pretty difficult to do successfully, after all. ( ¬‿¬)
In fact, in the event that you'd intentionally try to insult me, you might just find yourself insulted before I even realize you'd been trying to insult me. That's just how I am. ( ¬‿¬)

Oosran | 05-12-13, 2:43 PM
Yeah, humans are complicated like that.
And well, your username still shows, so it'd be hard mistaking you for someone else ( ¬‿¬)
Also, I should change my profile picture sometime.

Oosran | 05-12-13, 4:22 AM
Well, I guess that's a pretty logical rating system. It'd be nice if everyone used the same standards when rating stuff though. Would probably be easier to gauge what people like if they all go by the same standards. Not that I'm one to talk though, considering my lower than average ratings. ( ¬‿¬)

Oosran | 05-11-13, 11:42 PM
Oh and in case you're wondering, a lot of typos in your tags.
Also, wow. You rate things pretty darn high. Like, take DS2 for example. You're saying it's "okay", and you give it a 7/10. An okay from me would be 5.

Oosran | 05-11-13, 11:00 PM
I guess I might check it out when I sit down at my PC later to check if there's any new anime out.

TheLoneWolfMC | 05-11-13, 8:13 PM

Oosran | 05-11-13, 11:18 AM
Personally, I would prefer if there was some setting to receive notifications (like, emails and the like) when you get friend requests or club invites. That's how I know about comments on my profile, after all.
And no, I don't think there's any kind of notification when you're quoted. Which kind of sucks. That would be the best forum feature ever.

Oosran | 05-11-13, 11:02 AM
Oh, you sent a friend request? Guess I'll go accept that then. Don't really check that "menu" thingy often, since I only go on MAL these days with a clear goal in mind, like sending a comment, checking up on an anime/manga or something like that. So that kind of results in me not really noticing friend requests and stuff.
