I've just read your review about the One Piece sixth movie(looooved the review) , and I totally agree that the nakama-bond is the most important in all the One Piece series , this is what makes us fans cry like little kids ne?

yeah, i kind of know what you mean -- the last few chapters have been a bit "..." because it's been VERY predictable and you knew what to expect before it even happened. hopefully now that storyline has finished, it'll go back to the craziness for a while.

i'm the same, although at the moment i seem to be jumping back and forth between anime and manga, because i started a few different series this past few months and have managed to stick with them too, which is something i almost never manage. tokyo magnitude has been pretty awesome so far, it's held my interest really well. valkyria chronicles has too, although i think that's more down to the fact i liked the game, rather than it being brilliant.

but i still find manga more appealing. especially when it's a manga > anime transition, because the anime always feels rushed, like they tried to fit everything in and didn't manage it. or worse, cut loads of corners.

yeah, i know exactly what you mean -- none of the characters in K-ON really appeal to me, and i'm male, so obviously there's something we're both missing, haha. and for a show that features musical instruments pretty predominately, why advertise them and use actual instruments that exist in the real world if the show isn't going to center around people forming a band and, uh, playing these instruments? when i watched it, i just wished i was watching beck. i'm sure there's some enjoyment to be had from the series, but i just couldn't see it. plus that concert performance wasn't exactly great, heh.

the weak arguments for how awesome the show supposedly is make me rage. i'm really not against the insanely popular anime (i love gurren lagann) but it's just all hype because of the whole "oh look, they made lucky star and haruhi so K-ON is awesome too" thing.

urgh.

i wouldn't bother with haruhi 2 -- i'm sure you've heard why it's not that great, but if you didn't like the first series then there's no point watching it. i'm not sure what i think about the first one, and it's been a good couple of years since i watched it. so... maybe it's just passed me by.

i'll stop ranting now, haha. i don't want to come across too "ragey" mainly because it's nice to come across someone on here that actually talks about this sort of stuff normally, rather than coming across like they're batshit insane and take this hobby way too seriously, heh.
