I would say give the first Cardcaptor Sakura movie a go simply because it's CCS. The second movie is probably infinitely better, but I still enjoyed the first.
Overrated seems to be the norm for KyoAni works. I'm probably not gonna watch Clannad any time soon since I'm disappointed enough with their other slice of life moe shows. Nichijou seems to be the only one I actually find entertaining. But thanks for the feedback.
