Vart får du all tid ifrån?

Good question. It's not like Fairy Tail is unique or something, it's just like every other shounen anime. What got me addicted to Fairy Tail is actually the OST, each background song fits so well with the moment. Then of course, I'm happy that the female characters aren't as useless as in most shounen seriers. Erza is strong, Mirajane is strong, Juvia is strong, Lucy is kinda strong. The animation is decent which is also a big plus. Why you asking? (: Och varför skriver du på engelska haha, vi båda är ju svenskar.

I guess I'll have to make do with my DS and my PSP. I guess it's not the system I miss but Dragon Age.

I am incredibly excited for the new Avatar. The Last Airbender was amazing as far as I watched and... oh boy Legend of Korra seems EVEN MORE AWESOME.

Hm, that seemed a bit dull, to be honest. Didn't really catch my interest. But I might look into it again, thanks for the rec. (The only anime I am streaming at the moment are Persona and the newest Natsume Yuujinchou.) I guess I also should finish Persona 3 the game in order to try Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep :) (Been totally hooked on Dragon Age, but no Xbox or PS3 in sight here... damn. ;D)

No problem :)

As I've said as much as I'd like to try PoT the sheer mass of episodes kind of... dampens my enthusiasm.

Since there is a new Avatar series coming soon (I HOPE!) I want to try and finish Avatar so that I can enjoy the new series. (Even though knowledge from the first series is not required to understand the new one, I believe.)

I never said or thought sports anime were bad. That'd be quite hypocritical since I loved Attack No. 1 and Captain Tsubasa. (Heck because of Attack No. 1 I even enjoy real life volleyball matches on the telly.) But most of the time they seem endless and... that scares me. I'd love to watch Tennis no Oujisama for the cockiness that is Echizen Ryouma, but... It is just so much (episode wise). Often sports anime seem to not have much going for them except their chosen sport and the animation. And I only watch stuff when something catches my eye and with most sports anime the characters seem rather stereotypical and plot-wise at least in the beginning they all seem very similar, too. So not much incentive for me to watch those, except when an anime like Ookiku Furikabutte comes along with recommendations (from here and there) to watch it for it's wonderful characters :)

What do you mean by "Well, tackling by backlog like never before : D " I don't get it :)

kitschprinzessin | 02-23-12, 5:58 AM
I wonder who exactly is to blame, but I guess that depends. I guess it is not always the same degree of original author participation (if at all) when it comes to an anime adaption.

I am slowly watching Ookiku. It's really, really good. I love these kind of characters. I guess I should watch more sports anime :D

Hm, I mean manga more than anime when it comes to CLAMP, firstly because I don't know how much manga authors have a say when it comes to anime adaptions of their works. (I guess that varies...) So when I talk about an author I usually mean their "real" work :)
And... to me CLAMP's works are deep (though not all of them and not all the time of course), but that might be because I'm not used to 'deeper' works ;)

Hahaha, sad somehow. Sad just because I like liking things rather than disliking them. Although of course I have my fair share of things I do not like very much just as anybody. I am so looking forward to the new Spiderman because it looks nice and hopefully it will be a good new adaption. I like my Spidey and the actors in that film are pretty amazing. (At least they have been in previous films I've seen them in.)

I am hearing him in Ookiku Furikabutte at the moment and he's doing a weird voice (not used to that pitch) and... is speaking Osaka dialect, haha, awesome.
Since I haven't watched Kei I don't know, but I remember the manga as quite serious with hilarious moments and... a depth that is particular for CLAMP. I loved it and will try to finish it soon. (But to get a feel for it again I'll re-read the first 12 volumes.)

I hate hypes because they always affect me in a bad way. My expectations are to high and no matter how good the text is, I end up disappointed because everything was blown out of proportion :/

Kaiji is not something for me, but I heard good things about it.Have fun with the second season :)

I grew up with cartoons of American comics, so I have dear memories of the characters and their stories. Also the films are often quite good or at least entertaining. (And I cannot not watch the Avengers after loving Iron Man and Thor the way I do :D)

kitschprinzessin | 02-20-12, 11:39 PM
Sorry for the wait, I wasn't notified of your answer and didn't see it until now.

I love Holic, but haven't properly seen the anime yet. Fukuyama Jun is high in on my love list though because he owned Yumichika from Bleach and I loved what I heard of his Watanuki. (He fits the image I had of his voice after 12 volumes perfectly.) I still have to watch Code Geass, but having Fukuyama Jun as a main character is an incentive : ) But that anime is so loved I am a bit ... afraid it won't live up to my expectations. I am not one to like hypes... :) (Only i´f I am in on it right from the start and can just join in ;D)

I will tell you, but at the moment it seems pretty boring around here film-wise. At least for me. I really, really want to see Thatcher but I don't really need to on the big screen, especially for such a high price... :) Looking forward to 2012 comic films though *___* Can't wait for the Avengers and Batman!!

Somehow with CLAMP I want to try the source material first and then the anime, but if you say it's kinda nice, I guess I'll give it a try should I ever finish the manga :) (After all if it is entertaining enough, why not give it a try? Not everything has to be brilliant :D) Do you know how much of the manga the anime "covers"?
I like the bakery(?) girl and the little genius "sister"

Hm, I liked Hatori's voice, but it did not strike me much at the time. (I guess that's also because the character is rather... laid back.) I should watch some of the anime I only "have" because of Paku Romi, too, haha. Love her so much, but I kinda need to get into the mood for those... :)
Seiyuu-wise I marvel at the Gundam Wing seiyuu at the moment but I am too lazy to get involved in the series, so I only listen to the character songs. But they're really good and that cast is something to behold :)

I only mind because I truly fear of understanding too little to enjoy it, but otherwise I'd definitely love to go. Ah, I really want to go to the cinema, but... somehow there does not seem to be much on and.... all the good stuff comes TOO LATE ;___; Gah, Avengers, Batman, Spiderman....

kitschprinzessin | 02-14-12, 9:33 PM
Ah, well I only remember the one where they killed off my favourite character in the prologue and... I kinda didn't want to watch it without him, so... ;D I guess you have to specify these things, because there is a lot of different media for these series out there. For example I have not watched the Tsubasa anime (because I heard it was kinda rubbish) and only read the manga and so on.
I am not that much of a Chii fan, actually, so It didn't sadden me much to be honest. I kinda like her and found her extremely endearing at times, but only while reading the manga. She did not leave much of an impression on me afterwards. And her design is... really, really cute but I actually liked other characters from Chobits a lot more design-wise :)

I cannot look the man up now, in fear that I might discover who Greed is in the new FMA series (and the manga). There was a long time people didn't know about it and only guessed and I kinda want to it to stay that way for me, so that I can guess while reading/watching until I know for sure. (If I ever read/watch it....) Any other roles I might know from that particular seiyuu?

I would LOVE to go, but I fear that I might understand too little and end up being frustrated... The same with Berserk, I so wanna see that, but...that seems really complicated to understand with my little grasp of Japanese. I've watched the K-On film, but I knew the anime series and it was mostly... easily understandable because there was no fancy court/fantasy universe vocabulary or concepts to understand, but rather everyday stuff...

kitschprinzessin | 02-13-12, 7:44 AM
:)

Hm, I don't think there is CLAMP stuff I dislike. Only stories that are not as good as their other stories. (But I haven't read CLAP Gakuen Tanteidan for example). And I loved X. I don't know what I would think about it today, but I really liked it when I first read it. And Subaru still has a huge place in my heart today. And Tsubasa - which I haven't finished, tralala - is amazing, if at least for the wonderful crossover idea of it all :) I loved meeting some characters from series I like again in a different incarnation.

Yeah, somehow the premise of Fairy Tail just did not seem interesting enough to try it....

Not, not yet. And yes I am properly ashamed because I know how awesome they're supposed to be. (And I guess are. I kinda played one chapter of the first game and the idea is just extremely cool.)
