Hopefully you find at least a few of the series I recommended catch your interest. x3

Ah, true, forgot about that aspect... Still, I don't know. I felt the need to warn you about it anyway, just in case. o:

Why, exactly? Hmmm... well, that's a loaded question! Well, one reason I like the series is cause I am always inclined to like series that have strong females. So Claymore was automatically appealing to me for that reason. But Claymore is actually a lot more deep than that. There are lots of underlying themes that you don't really expect, such as the questioning of What is humanity exactly?, Are humans better than non-humans even if they are bad people?, etc. Things like that.

Claymore's actually full of lots of important themes like that, and it really interests me. Makes me think about certain things... Even characters in the series who you don't expect to really think of such things mention things from time to time that open your eyes. It's an interesting series. (:

I would still know it is you who is ultimately commanding the poking, so you would still be at fault. o:

I sometimes find it troublesome to read online... But that's cause I prefer to read books when they're in my hands. Then again, I'm spoiled by my libraries. They carry a lot of manga, so I'm able to read a lot of series that way. I think that's why I cannot stand reading series online for too long. I get tired of it rather quickly. ^^;

Here are a few other recommendations: Kyou Kara Maoh, Silver Diamond, Fullmetal Alchemist, Lock On!, Skip Beat!, Saver, Shinobi Life, Red River, Shugo Chara!, Kare Kano, and Claymore. (Up through Skip Beat! they are all comedies, and most of them -- aside from Lock On! and Skip Beat! have some fantasy/adventure element to them. Red River is adventure, but it does have some mature themes in it... Mature love scenes to be exact, so I don't know how you feel about that. Shugo Chara! is fantasy, and it has some comedy. Kare Kano is more based on real life, so it doesn't particularly fit into any of the genres you recommended, but it's one of my favorite series, so I wanted to recommend it. Then of course I had to recommend Claymore! Claymore does fit into the action/adventure genre for sure, though. Definitely worth reading. ;D)

Sorry if I gave you too many... But I hope you find a good one to read amongst my many suggestions. :3

I would still blame you, cause my eye would have never even had the potential of being damaged if it weren't for your attempt at poking me. D:

How is manga intimidating? (Or do you not like to read in general, so that is why it frightens you?)

Fantasy, action, and comedy... Well, the first series that comes to mind is Yozakura Quartet. I recently started reading it, and I'd say it fits into all of those genres. Definitely one I'd recommend reading. (:

I haven't read too many series that are straight-up comedy... Hayate the Combat Butler is the only one that comes to mind. But that one has a lot of puns/spoofs on other series, so you may not find the series funny if you don't really understand all of the gags. (Even I don't understand all of them. ^^; )

Reborn! starts off as a comedic series, then it actually starts to develop a plot later on, and more action is introduced. I haven't caught up with the series, but I hear the later chapters are very good. (That is a long series, though. Around 200+ chapters, I believe.)

Ultra Maniac fits into the fantasy/comedy category. That is a shorter series, only five volumes, but it is a rather cute series. :3

Let me sift through my lists to see if I can recommend some more for you, though. x3

*is poked* Careful, you could cause me to lose an eye! Dx

Really, never? Well, I suppose we were all like that once upon a time, myself included. x3

What do you mean by "easy" though? Short, or easy to understand/not too complicated? I need to get that cleared up before I can really recommend anything. x3

Oh, and which genres do you prefer? That will also help me decide which series to recommend. (:

As for sites to read manga, you can check out Onemanga and Mangafox. I personally prefer Onemanga (it just reads easier for me), but others prefer Mangafox. Both sites work equally well, though. Take your pick. =D
