Recommendation Club Newsletter~Holiday Edition
As we enter into one of the busiest times of the year, we here at the Recommendation Club would like to extend our wishes for each and every one of you to have a wonderful holiday season!
Since the September newsletter, our club has gained many new members, and seen the return of old ones. We would like to keep the momentum going, and with our member list now at 3,111, that should be no problem at all! ^_^.
We would like all of our members, old and new, to help keep this an active, and fun club, a place to Chat and to seek out recommendations in our General anime and General Manga thread as well as the specific anime genre threads, such as Drama and Romance and Sci-fi and many others as well.
It’s a great place to make new friends, or renew past friendships, and we urge all of our members to drop by, and post in the various threads and comment section, as well as share you expertise with other members.
We look forward to seeing you all here !

Become an Expert Now
1. What is an Anime Expert?
An Anime Expert is mainly an user that is willing to help us by recommending stuff. Most of them are specialized in some genres, while a few are the general experts type.
2. How do I help?
People around this club normally create their own thread to ask for recommendation or ask in the comments. If you are online and notice their comments/posts, you can give them suggestion on what to watch.
3. What do I get?
First of all, every Expert will receive a special custom made expert card. It can also help you get limited edition cards and so on. Your name will be featured in a thread and there will be a link to that thread on the layout. You can be notified faster about some club changes and content that will be implemented at a later date.
Complete this form to become an Expert:
Genres you want to be expert in: (genres you normally watch and are most familiar with)
Other genres you're familiar with:
Familiarity with airing anime: (if you watch at least a few airing anime each season, you're probably at least decently familiar with that and can recommend)
Other: (write any additional details if you want)
We'll contact you after you've been approved with the details about your card.
edit: you can still recommend stuff even if you are not one of the Experts. It's just joining this group will give you a few advantages.

I really hope not.
planet exploring felt so awesome though. I felt so alone and isolated, exploring a new planet, then coming over the rise of a mountain to see the most epic sun planet vistas. It would have been so easy to improve it.
It's sad. The industry never listens to it's market.
The hope is ME3 will be a good compilation of all of two's graphics, and vistas and story/ missions. With the RPG elements of one, plus adding back in exploring and and better upgrade systems.
Now one thing I hope they do implement is planet space battles and perhaps landing the drop ship, then from the drop ship start exploring with the Buggy.
That would be epic. The map is much improved but imagine getting into planetary distance, taking control of a shuttle and landing it, suddenly getting attacked by pirates hiding on the dark side. Making it down to planet side, then Zooming our to explore the surface in your buggy, fighting some geth. The driving elements in the game were brilliant. You can't deny attacking the geth in the Buggy wasn't brilliant, storming the beach front of a strong hold or base.
But most of all I hope they implement a trading option, so you can fly from station to station trading guns, drugs or metals or whatever, just to make money or just to waste time. That would be awesome.

GAh, I just made a post, but I had to say more.
Plus this has been bugging me for some time.
I love the changes in ME2, but getting rid of the scars I chose in the first game for scars I didn't chose that glow neon is rubbish.
Other things, like Armour upgrades for your team, what happened to the totally equipment's menu, why did they shift it to button menu's. I love having different sections, managing your team is easier, but the manage team Menus is worse.
Why did they get rid of Omi get?
WHy is MED gel so ineffective, it never seems to work, theres no secondary option to add it to short cuts, it's just unity, take it or leave it.
None of my team ever dies, like ever. I never feel like a battle is really hard or my tactics or stratagem have to be improved past pointing and shooting.
I rarely use my Powers.
but the worst thing is that they got rid of my beloved planetary exploring mode...that is just unforgivable.
I love everything else about the game, the character have more depth the places are more intricate than just the same room over and over again on every planter you got to. I love the space MAP, flying from planet to planet and probing for minerals. On the whole The improvements are better. But those things I loved about the first game are suddenly gone.

With the fall season upon us, the club has not been as active recently with our members being busy with work, school, and the other things life throws our way, but we here at the Recommendation Club want to let all of our members know that we haven't gone anywhere! We have a large member-list, and we would like to see all of you joining in, and sharing, your anime and manga knowledge with the club!

There was a truck in the middle of the street, I broke its windows, there was a guy that basically told me that I was a retard so kicked him in balls, that TAUGHT him a lesson, now he'll have a bad day."

Our club is almost one year old and we'll be most likely celebrating it with lots of specials and contests, so you might wanna check out the club at least once every few days as something new might appear in the horizon. :D
We noticed that while the member count keeps growing by day, we aren't exactly as active as we should be. It would be nice to see more and more people chatting in the comments or in the chat thread. I'd like to mention that a chat thread in our club gets closed after a comment or so is made on page 50. I'd like to get this one closed so we can start one anew in our next club year. Thanks in advance.
I'd also be glad if you introduced yourself in our special threads or warmly welcome our new members that have posted there. Also, if you have any trouble deciding what anime you want to watch or if you want to help others, take a look at the recommendation thread and post there.
If anyone is willing to make member cards, just post the templates in this thread or pm them to me. If you have made some other kind of graphic for the club you can post it in the comments or, again, pm it to me.
