Hi all,
I'm a typical anime fan like most of us here. I don't consider myself to be a hardcore fan, but watching anime has been my regular hobby for a while. My favourite genres happen to be action, comedy, sports and mecha. I've started watching anime since I was a little kid and grew up watching shows like Dodge Denpai, Madou King Granzort and a lot of Brave (Yuusha) series (which you probably don't know about lol).
I'm not really into those deep and/or sad anime, I usually just like to sit back, relax and often go back and rewatch some parts here and there. So I tend to go for funny animes that I can just pull out and rewatch to laugh (if I feel like it). After watching a sad anime, it just lurks around in my mind for a while so I tend to avoid those. lol
I'm a recent graduate of an animation program myself, so I often pay close attention to animation, sometime watching it frame-by-frame if I feel like I need to analyze some movements or camera works. :P And we all know Sunrise rules! lol

Cool. Hopefully this year isn't as crazy as ours was last year. Should be fun at least. I'm actually going for an interview tomorrow so maybe I'll get lucky. Would be nice.
Btw, I got a no hotlinking error with that link you sent me. Send it on MSN or email it. Oh and speaking of cosplay... did you go to the Fan Expo at the end of August? They had some cool celebs there like Lou Ferrigno, Bruce Campbell and Leonard Nemoy. They had a bunch of gaming events and booths with demos as well. It wasn't half bad. They had a Brawl tournament you could've signed up for. hahahaha!!!

Hey Jason! I've been doing alright. Summer flew by too quick and now I'm looking for work in Toronto. Haven't done much other then hang out with people and watch movies this summer, so now things are definitely gonna slow down coz I gotta start getting back into the swing of things.
What you've been up to these days? Starting the 3D course next week or was this week already?

Hahaha, no I forgot what studios. I know that Paul and Dave got 3D jobs in the area. Paul is doing rigging I believe. I'm not too sure about Dave. Oh and Garrett's here as well for design/concept.

Yeah, You mentioned you were gonna do 3d after 4th yr. But yea, a few people got jobs so far. I know dave, paul, garrett and yuriy got jobs. Ben might also get a job at a game studio, but it's not 100% yet. Hopefully something comes around for the rest of us in the near future. Time will tell.
For now we just gotta keep building up our portfolios, but its been hard to get motivated so far. Seems more like a vacation rather then a time to look for jobs and keep working on stuff. Lol.

Sup man. First week after we graduated and it still feels the same. I hope things change soon. Still feels like we're going back come September. Heh.
Anyway, you should add 'Spice and Wolf' to your list of what to watch. I just finished it and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I watched all 13 eps today, which probably tells you how good it is(also how bored I am). Lol.
