I've been watching Fairy Tail, Battle Spirits Sword Eyes, and Saint Seiya Omega for a while now although you might not watch them since their fairly long. As for my studies I have my finals coming up in a mouth then I have about a month and a half of break before the next semester to watch as much anime as I want.:D
By the way I remember you asking about anime that had both action and comedy in them and battle spirits series have that kind of combination in them although you get more action than comedy, but their still a good series. Each season is about 50 episodes long so you might not watch it right now but when you have the time I think you might enjoy them. Enjoy your anime.:3

Well For "Air Gear" The anime is pretty good considering it is better to watch the action going on than just reading it, but if you read the manga before watching it you feel like your missing something. That can be especially true if you watch the Ova that follows since there is a huge chuck of time missing from the end of the series to the first of the Ovas.
As for other anime that have the elements action and comedy in them I would suggest watching Dog Days season 1 and 2, Hagure Yuusha no Estetica, and Zero no Tsukaima. And Zero no Tsukaima is broken down into Four seasons that are about 13 episodes long.
