Happy Valentine's Day! Not a new drawing, but here it is:

Do you by any chance know what honeysuckles represent?

With that said, I went from Grandia to Wild Arms 2 (in Japanese this time). A middle-aged Youtuber said that Sony gave Wild Arms 2 very lazy translation.

At least I have something to enjoy while reading a mix of kanas and kanji. If there's a Chinese character in the dialogue that I don't know, then I'll take a snapshot.

I love the fact that Aya Hisakawa (I absolutely love Rem Saverem, so lady-like and spirited; I don't think that I've seen real red eyes), Kappei Yamaguchi and Kikuko Inoue being part of the Grandia cast. Yes! Sailor Mercury, Inuyasha and Belldandy.

Ah yes! Everyone knows Aya-sama as Skuld.

I'm not totally enjoying Witch From Mercury, but it's better than nothing, I guess. I would give it a 7.4/10 and I could also get into a comic book called Transmetropolitan if I want more sci-fi, Pluto also. Saga is another comic book that I plan on reading eventually.

My long time xennial friend and Mimi love that manga, but I'm more familiar with Astro Boy. I'll definitely read it some time after Silent Möbius QD and I'll watch the newly released adaptation of Pluto eventually. I heard that Koichi Yamadera is part of the Japanese cast so that makes me want to watch it more.

I hope that Silent Möbius will get a remake or an OVA summarizing volumes 10-12 with a QD adaptation included. Kiddy without Hiromi Tsuru won't be the same though. May Hiromi-sama RIP.

I haven't read anything battle shounen in ages so I grew out of Naruto and similar manga since I was 25.

As for Japanese, you can always download Boyé-sensei's Instant Japanese book which is the best one for beginners. After reading Instant Japanese, I moved on to Oxford for advanced stuff.

Thanks for responding! :)

Macross isn't exactly for everyone, but it is the future as long as Harmony Gold and Big West agreed to release all Macross anime worldwide.

Your country may also get "Do You Remember Love?" Swedish dubbed for the first time. It was a good movie and I'm still glad Hikaru taught Minmay a valuable lesson for being so spoiled.

Not even Macross 7 will have to be fansubbed only like Turn A Gundam (all it's Blu-ray copies will stay Japanese forever).

I'm sure that the returning franchise will handle CGI nicely. Awesome CGI like in Zoids, Blue Submarine no. 6, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop and Geneshaft. The future Gundam SEED and Star Blazers movies will be having serious competition when they drop.

That same semitomboy your age will also be super excited to watch a future Gundam SEED movie. Yes, it'll be a sequel to the anime she grew up with featuring those veteran voice actors (like Megumi Toyoguchi and Rie Tanaka).

She still reads more manga than I do and was able to complete Lindbergh thanks to her adept German. I wish that I could have taken German in high school, but at least I got all the time I need to learn that language which I'll learn after Japanese.

I really need Japanese so that I can re-read Silent Möbius more conveniently.

That Mimi also loves Rose of Versailles and Emma. I guess Rurouni Kenshin counts as historical considering those hints of Edo-period Japan.

By the way, I meant same age as you, but other than that, I read several manga this month. Especially Sorcerer Hunters which a kind lady with an Asian husband recommended to me.

I don't read the same manga as Gen Z, zoomers or whatever you want to call them.

Hello again miss! So what do you love most about Mai Hime? It's been 14 years since I last watched that anime.

Oh yeah! My friend from North Carolina will have a birthday on October 2nd and she's about your age.

She told me ages ago that she's a huge fan of sci-fi and historical anime. She would totally watch future Macross movies that a half-Asian tomboy told me about fairly recently.

No one really seems to like the later volumes as much as the beginning, anymore.
Kurt_Irving Feb 15, 2015 2:20 PM
Hello, been to say you got good taste in anime. The Claymore anime is better than the manga, right?
warriorofdream Nov 9, 2012 11:48 PM
if you fon't watch new season, I highly reccoment you Zetsuen no Tempest & Psycho Pass [action, crime , mystery, ] , both are great, Code Breaker (but fi you read a manga you an be a bit dissapointed) plus from last season and it's still airing Sword Art Online

If you like romance comedy then maybe try Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun quite original, watch 1st ep, it was epic till the last sec xDD

you still have time for eveything, even return the school or maybe think of taking course?? about sht which interest you, or course which will help you develope your skills and it will be big plus while searching for a new job.
warriorofdream Oct 28, 2012 1:11 AM
for us it's better to have at least master degree, bachelor it not enoough..
so I don't have much choice if I want or not, but it's also good oportunity to wait maybe economy will get a bit better.

good luck !
warriorofdream Oct 25, 2012 10:39 AM
Same here here market sucks and it's so hard to find job, even the simply and cheap one. I think everywhere is the same problem. Here so many people lost job recently, so for new people it's like impossible to find one =_= that's why I decided to continue study >.>
here what counts is experience, but how to get experience, when everybody what exepreinced person?? and sometimes they really don't care what did you end at uni ..it's sad. here is funny saying that it isn't important what study will you end as long as you end it, because actually almost no one works in his/her field after finishing uni.
and that's true.
even my mom is after biology and she works in totally different field right now.

Thanks <3 and I wish you to find a job, don't give up! maybe the less you will expect it, the quicker it will show before you <33
warriorofdream Oct 22, 2012 11:47 AM
Yup I defend my thesis too and manage to get on master study but uni is boring..
ah do you search for specific kind of job?? or just anything is good as they pay??XD

<3 I'm glad your went good too ;D
warriorofdream Oct 18, 2012 11:51 PM
