This review is based on the first two episodes of Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000%. As more episodes come out, I will edit the review.
As most people know, Uta No Prince is based on a Visual Novel, (PS2 Game if I am not mistaken.) Involving 6 Bishies. (Bishonen boys.)
Story: 7 (Based on two episodes.)
The heroine Nanami enrolls into a school specially for composers and etc. At the entrance exam she is late because on her way she had stopped to help a lost child find their mother. Because of this, the officers do not let her in. She then meets Ittoki and
...
Ren, who manage to get her in by persuading the officers.
There is hinted romance currently, but I won't type it on here because of the spoilers. Each episode is around 24 minutes long, I'm guessing that this anime will be separated into arcs. (Something like Amagami SS or Starry Sky.) Where the heroine (Considering there are 6 male protagonists, each male gets 2 episodes- if the anime ends at the 12th episode.) is with a different male protagonist in each episode (This case, 2?).
The story looks pretty consistent, as I have watched Amagami SS, I believe it will suit those who are looking for a light romance anime.
Art: 7.5
This included a bit of my personal opinion, as I found Starry Sky's art more appealing. Either way, the anime has great cell-shaded characters, nicely colored, the body proportions (Oh thank you!) They are consisnt and great throughout the episodes. I have not yet found huge eyes, sudden weird movement, or really skinny fingers and legs during the animation.
The animation is very smooth and I'm happy to say that the animators aren't that lazy, as sometimes one of the major flaws of Visual Novels that is turned into an anime is that animators get lazy and use simple skills like scanning e.g to waste time- which Uta No Prince does not have often. The best evidence of great animation is the ED (Was the OP of Episode 1.)
Sound: 7
I was too focused on the settings and the plot to really hear the music in the background, either way, the OP and ED are really appealing and amusing to watch (especially the ED.).
The voice actors did a great job (which can be told just by watching 1 episode.) the character personalities and the voices go together really well, and the singing is just 'awesome'. Many of the voice actors have sung before, and I think I've heard one of their voices in the "Nico Nico Chorus". Which just adds more to the sound and voice actors.
Character:6
I am hoping to see some good background stories for each of the characters in the arcs, because I have only watched 2 episodes- I cannot rate this any higher than a 6. Some of these characters feel to stereotypical, and after seeing many types of anime- Stereotypes don't really stand out.
Generally, the character designs are really nice and they seem to have interesting personalities.
I'm wanting to see how they flip the Stereotypes and create characters that can be remembered and liked.
Enjoyment: 8
Though I have rated "Enjoyment" higher than the others, this at the end is just a little personal opinion. (I find Shou's hairstyle awesome xD )
~This anime will satisfy you if you are simply looking for a lighthearted, hinted romance, little comedy and school setting, and if you are searching for something music related- as they do sing :3 (Awfully well.)~
[Note: Or if you are just looking for some spicy bishies]

What makes an anime great?
*Action
*Comedy
*Drama
And what anime has it all? Gintama!
At first I was a little bit reluctant to watch this anime because of its different art style, (because then I used to judge an anime mainly on it's art style). But now, I can tell you I'm heaps glad that I entered the World of Gintama.
When Gintama ended I lost a week's worth of laughing, the end did seem a bit sudden- after searching up billions of blogs and "YAHOO ANSWERS" did I find out it would be continued. Boy was I glad.
...
Now lets get to the point:
Plot: 9.9
Before you bring out your swords, lightsabers or sharp objects and kill me- hear my explanation. One of Gintama's previous flaws was that its plot wandered a bit- but Gintama kept hold of its fans by using arcs and interesting battle scenes- not to forget, Comedy. The continuation by the looks of the episodes, the creators have strengthened the plot, with a good plot, funny and loveable characters- with the most amazing action scenes- Gintama will always be a hit.
Art: 10
I know I did complain about the art style a little at first but now I'm completely used to it. The exaggeration of some expressions, the flow of animation and not once were the character's proportioned weird. Despite how many characters there are, they have managed to keep the good quality throughout the episodes. Very pleased. They are now in high quality, which just makes the lineart and animation feel and look much more smoother.
Sound: 10
Gintama always had the best sound tracks, the OPS- EDS, background music and voice actors. The OPS would always make you wanna copy the character's actions, the EDS are soothing and the background music is perfect, it fits the scene and during fights- the music makes my blood pump faster. Voice actors, Gintama chose some very special voices to play the roles of our most liked characters.
Gintoki Sakata's voice actor Sugita, Tomokazu (voice acted these charas: Gintoki, Kyon, Hoshi, and Mayama) Of course, he may not have voice acted some of the most well-known characters, but Gintoki has definitely made him become a legend.
Kagura's voice actor (Kugimiya, Rie) At first I was surprised to find out this was her voice, after all- she was a "Tsundere Queen" I could recognize her voice when she's a Tsundere (e.g- Shana, Louise or Astarotte.) but for once- she isn't!
Shinpachi's Voice actor (Sakaguchi, Daisuke) I could not even tell that he voice acted for Sunohara (Clannad) Or Jacuzzi (Bacanno!) It just amazes me how he can almost change voice for every character, a special addition to Gintama!
Character:10
Gintama is one of the most non-stereotypical anime out there with the most widest, loveable variety of characters. Gintama does a great thing: "It makes the villains likeable" not only that, each character has a very unique personality which makes the anime stand out even more. Gintama is more of a Character-driven anime- as the plot has a few loose ends.
Enjoyment: 10
A good anime should be able to make you laugh when it wants to, make you cry when it wants you to, make you feel angry when it wants you to, and Gintama does all of that.
It's the best in comedy, the best in action, the best in drama.
We all welcome back Gintama!

No hard feelings anyone, I've been a pokemon fan for a long time. I've stuck with Pokemon through the first season- until Diamond and Pearl.I've got games and cards, posters and collectibles. I've loved Misty and May was okay- but Dawn? I wished she'd just go and vanish somewhere.
I've loved the first pokemon series when there was just Ash, Misty and Brock. In my opinion, Pokemon should've ended on Diamond and Pearl.
Pokemon is one of the worldwide BEST kid cartoon shows, yes for kids. But many teens still watch it, I'm not saying you shouldn't or anything- but Best
...
Wishes is simply another replay of the other Pokemon seasons.
Story- 5
The story is the usual simple storyline, Ash goes to venture somewhere new and catch the pokemon- get the gym badges, there's going to be a movie where he meets the legendary pokemon of Black & White. So? Sounds pretty repetitive to me.
Art- 7
The art of pokemon has always scored pretty high points, there are times the animation quality drops (depending where you're watching it). But overall, the art is quite simple and nice to watch. They also have some 3d aspects in it now- not scoring too much points with me.
Sound-7
The ED & OP are done better than in Diamond & Pearl, good parts to the animators there. The sound is pretty good with some usual themes that get you wrapped around, the battle music is great- it does get a bit repetitive but you don't notice it as much. They could use a lot more sound but the usual, pokemon moves have sound effects, the pokemon repeat their names a lot of times...
Now onto the voice actors, I find Iris's voice a bit annoying but Ash sounds the same. The voice actors do great jobs of portraying their roles.
Character-6
Remember the catchphrase? : "Gotta catch em all!"
Well, this 'catchphrase' seems pretty contradictory to me, firstly, I want to point out Ash's problems.
* He releases a legendary at the end of each movie
* He releases all his previously caught pokemon and only keeps Pikachu
* No character development at all.
Alright, Ash DOES get a bit mature throughout the series but he still has his beginning personality. He is the stereo-typical main character- and after watching MANY anime on my part, this doesn't stand out.
Is it just me or does Ash seem pretty "Playboy" to you? Think about it, Lyra from Diamond & Pearl hinted love to Ash, Dawn does hint it, so does Misty and May. Will Iris?
Dent & Iris replace Brock and Misty- Or Brock and Dawn. I'm getting used to their personality but I must say it's not the best trio.
Team Rocket! The only group that stayed together throughout the series of pokemon. They are slowly changing but in the previous series they've always given people laughs. They ARE changing- but a bit too slow over the span of almost 12 seasons of Pokemon.
Enjoyment 6
Why did I rate it a 6? I think the pat on the back goes to the creators on this. Able to come up with almost 100 new pokemon and a new storyline with new characters. As I mentioned before, this plot is becoming very boring. The only thing that stands out is the sound and pokemon there are.
As long as they are kids buying games and watching, Pokemon is a never-ending series with the same main character and Pikachu who sticks with him through his whole journey of "Catching Pokemon!" "Collecting Gym Badges!" "Releasing all the pokemon!" "New journey!"
I've forced myself to watch almost 20 episodes, and my thoughts didn't change.
Overall 6/7
Pokemon Best Wishes, I recommend to Hardcore Pokemon Fans. But if you don't like the first few episodes, I warn you to stop right there. To all you Pokemon fans out there, I'm wondering how you manage to stick through this boring loop of same events but different Pokemon and characters.
Pokemon Best Wishes is not likely to be the last season, if it sells, they make more. And for about 10 years now, Ash has remained 10. He won't ever grow up and the series probably will never end. Until the creators run out of ideas that is- but that may be a long way away.
I suggest these series to Pokemon fans, if you've watched Pokemon for a long time and stayed with it through stupid Dawn, watch this. I must say if you've rated this a 9, 8 or 10- you must be a Pokemon fan and hating us 'haters'. I want to point out to Pokemon fans that you should really try another anime- there are many other anime after watching you'll come back and understand why I rated this low. Pokemon is being compared to many other great series that may not have as good art- or sound.
